6. WeVideo

WeVideo is potentially the most powerful editor to make it to this list. WeVideo features an impressive amount of customization and power, though like the other entries on the list, there are some downsides.

WeVideo also supports advanced features such as green screen, and multiple formats are preloaded, so you can easily have your video ready for social media or the web. Pre-built, drag and drop templates also feature, as well as tools to records your screen, webcam, or microphone.

The free version of WeVideo includes a watermark, and limits you to publishing only five minutes of footage a month. As you’ve no doubt guessed, you can remove these limitations by subscribing to a number of premium plans. These premium plans offer longer videos, more online storage, better resolution, and more.

7. Wideo

Wideo is an online video creating site for creating animated videos, explainer videos and other marketing videos with a lot of video templates. Sign in first to make a video online with this animated editor and then drag and drop elements of the website's editing service, create a sequence of animations.

Wideo allows you to use the different elements as many times as you want to create your video and unlike some websites, you are not limited to using stock elements (text, cartoons, drawings, and images) and components. It seems that Wideo only allows you to upload your own images in .jpg, .png and .gif and backgrounds or music, I didn’t find out a way to add my own video footage to this online video editor. Let me know if you have any clue.

10. Renderforest

RenderForest wowed us with their step-by-step tutorial, making getting familiar with their features an absolute breeze. The templates page was a little lacking, if only in direction. The prompts they have are beautifully rendered and intricate, but that isn’t helpful when it’s difficult to use different categories, etc. You also cannot create something from scratch from what we saw, so that’s a tad troubling.

Renderforest boasts access to “115.000 + Royalty free Stock Footage” but as free/trial users, couldn’t find access to even a library to browse what they offer.

11. VideoToolbox

Photo: Youtube

Finally, we have VideoToolbox. VideoToolbox has no premium options to speak of and doesn’t add any watermarks to your exported videos. In a way, this makes VideoToolbox different from most of this list, though there are some concessions you’ll need to make if you’re going to use it.

VideoToolbox is significantly less user-friendly than some of the other editors on this list. It’s truly a free service, and sometimes it shows. The interface is outdated and can be difficult to use, though it will let you achieve just about any basic functionality you might hope from it after a little bit of wrestling with the controls.

12. Adobe Spark

Adobe Spark provides users with a couple of sophisticated tools. You can create customized graphics, web pages, and videos. We find that this is a fairly advanced tool, despite the ease of choosing templates.

There is also compatibility with educational programs, but we will be focusing on Spark for businesses & creating videos for this list. Feel free to check out their other products and tell us what you think of their take on an online video maker!

Spark comes with tons of jam-packed templates. Their videos do a great job of inspiring thought and sparking (ha…) originality, but they can only be 30 seconds long.

13. Kapwing

Kapwing provides lots of online video editing related products such as online meme generator, video maker, video resizer, and video trimmer, add subtitles, add audio and loop video, as well as an all-in-one online video studio. 14. Animoto

Photo: Animoto
Photo: Animoto

Animoto has two services: Animoto Memories and Animoto Marketing. The former is used for more personalized social media or familial events, so we’ll be focusing on Animoto Marketing.

Animoto prompts you to use two tutorials for either product, pictured above. They’re in-depth and easy to follow. Furthermore, when creating anything for the first time, they give you the option to follow them “step-by-step” as you create your first Business or Personal project.

It seems as though Animoto only offers a music library and templated stories. You can trim these down, but ultimately you’d have to add in the original content you’ve either shot yourself or bought/downloaded obtained elsewhere. This means you’d often have trouble with licensing your non-original content, instead of paying Animoto directly for access to their stock library.

15. Biteable

Biteable’s sign up guide was easy enough to follow. They do ask for your reasoning and purpose of using their online video maker. We were prompted to a landing screen with 5 templates to choose from, or the option to “start from scratch” after completing their survey.

Their stock library was very impressive, and we can break it down into a couple categories here.

Firstly, they have “Scene Categories” which are a type of fluffer for transitions between footage. They have an immense variety, pictured below. They range from clay animation to seasonal animations, to overlays of IT graphics. There is something for every occasion.

16. Hippo Video

Hippo Video is an all-in-one video marketing platform that also provides video editing tools. You can add your media files from a computer or from Google Drive, but as it is claimed that video formats are limited to mp4, Mkv, Flv, 3gp, and mpg, and the supported maximum video file is 500MB, and you can only add one video at importing. Besides importing videos, you can also use Hippo Video to record your desktop screen, webcam, and voiceover.

The free version does provide some basic editing features such as split, trim, crop, add text or resize, and add simple titles, emojis, and callouts, but if you want to do some professional editing, you may need to recommend it to your friends or upgrade your account.

You need to register for this online platform first before editing. And there is no video footage nor stock music available (maybe it is hidden in the Pro editing mode). You can share the video directly to social media platforms such as FB, Twitter, YouTube, or via email. You can also download the clip to your desk. NO watermark in Free Plan.

PowToon is a great way to create videos that will serve an explanatory purpose. If you need a video that is to serve as a sort of guide or teacher then PowToon is definitely the website you want to use. It allows you to use what is essentially a digital version of paper cut-outs superimposed on colorful backgrounds. Is There Any Online Video Editor No Watermark?

Yes, there are some free online video editors without watermarks, such as ClipChamp, Online Video Cutter and Hippo Video after exporting. But you should note that in some online video editing tool, the video resolution may be limited to 480p in the free plan.

While, free online video editors like Clip Champ didn't watermark your video but the quality is limited to 480P. Video Toolbox can remain the original quality and keeps no watermark, but the interface isn't intuitive. The rising star Kapwing will be a good choice if you don't need many editing features.
