In 2015, a group of friends from Arkansas created this day. They got to talking about national holidays and how some days have so many holidays associated with them while they were dining together at Oven and Tap. They decided to establish National Hangover Day on January 1 after quickly realizing that it was essentially just known as New Year's Day. In November of 2015, the official proclamation for this day was approved.
National Hangover Day is more of a day to learn how to feel better after having too many drinks than it is to celebrate. Although there are numerous scientific methods for preventing and treating hangovers, on National Hangover Day, individuals share their personal hangover cures on social media.
Tiredness and aches in the head and muscles are the main signs of a hangover. Some also experience nausea and vertigo that lasts for the majority of the day. It's definitely not a nice sensation.
