Ukraine's first lady: Hasn't seen Volodymyr Zelenskyy over a month

Olena Zelenska told CNN in an interview published on Wednesday: "Volodymyr and his team actually live in the President's office. Due to the danger, my children and I were forbidden to stay there. So, for more than a month we communicate only by phone."

Zelenskyy told that he and his staff had been working and sleeping at their Kyiv command center since the start of war. It is not clear if his wife visited him there in the early days of the war.

Ukraine President Stays in Presidential Office

"I stay here. I stay in Kyiv. On Bankova Street," Zelensky said in the video, according to an English transcript on his website. "I'm not hiding. And I'm not afraid of anyone."

Following Russia's attacj of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Zelensky said in a speech that he was the "number one target" but he has said he does not want to be evacuated from Kyiv, the capital of the country.

In the latest video, shared on Facebook, Zelensky said that Mondays have always been known as "hard" days, but he added, each day that the war drags on feels like another hard day, another Monday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video on his official Instagram account on Friday, saying he is still in the capital Kyiv and has not fled the country.

A presentation that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave to US lawmakers on Saturday led to some criticism of the attendees, with three senators seen as committing miscues during the talk.

Shortly after the meeting began, Senator Marco Rubio, a Republican representing Florida, and Senator Steve Daines, a Republican from Montana, shared images of Zelensky on the Zoom call. The posting of the images was met with swift backlash and questions about whether Zelensky’s safety and location had been compromised, as other lawmakers in attendance said they had specifically been asked not to share information publicly during the call.

Zelensky was speaking to more than 300 members of Congress, imploring them to ban the importation of Russian oil and to send more jets to his country, according to lawmakers on the call. The meeting, conducted via Zoom, was the first time Zelensky had addressed both houses of Congress since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Twitter faced calls to remove tweets from U.S. Senators Marco Rubio and Steve Daines that featured screenshots of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressing members of Congress on Saturday.

Some social media users flooded the tweets, demanding that Twitter take them down for potentially endangering Zelensky's safety amid the Russian attack of Ukraine. Demands for the posts' removals caused Rubio to trend on Twitter Saturday afternoon.

However, Phillips noted in his tweet that they were asked to not share anything on social media only during the meeting, which has since ended.

Ukrainian President Stay in his Kyiv's Office?

The social media was abuzz with rumours of Zelensky having already fled Ukraine, with some claiming that Zelensky has actually accepted the US offer of evacuation. There are also reports that the President's official residence, the Mariinskyi Palace has also been attacked.

He also released photos of the attack on Mariinskyi Palace, after which he made fun of Russia, saying that their attack had failed.

So, now the question is where is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy?

Amid reports by Russia claiming that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has fled to Poland, he posted a video to counter the claims showing his Kyiv office and an official sitting there.

"I am in Kyiv. I am working here. Nobody has escaped," he wrote on the video posted on his official Instagram account.

This is the second time since the war broke out between Russia ad Ukraine that Ukrainian president is rebuffing claims of such nature. Russian politician Vyacheslav Volodin claimed Zelensky fled to Poland as he was unreachable by Ukraine's parliament members, he claimed

"Every two days information comes out that I have fled somewhere — fled from Ukraine, from Kyiv, from my office. As you can see, I am here in my place, Andriy Borisovich (Yermak) is here. Nobody has fled anywhere. Here, we are working," Zelensky said.

We like jogging, but now we don't have time for that, for various cardio exercises," he joked. "Working. Glory to Ukraine."

In a previous selfie video, he stood on the street with his inner circle, showing them that his chief of staff, prime minister and closest advisers had also not left the capital.

Ukraine President Zelensky Appeared to be a Bunker

Appearing on a video call with lawmakers from what those in the virtual meeting say appeared to be a bunker Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked the U.S. to provide him with more firepower.

Zelenskyy, wearing a green T-shirt, asked Congress for more lethal aid, more planes and more sanctions, and to shut down Russian oil exports during the call.

The Ukrainian Medias reported that Zelenskyy was always in the capital. He supports Ukrainians, and his office tries to publish official information about the events as often as possible.

Three assassination attempts were made on Zelensky last week, the British newspaper The Times reported. To do this, the customers sent two groups to the task - Wagner's APC and the Chechen special forces. The publication notes that "anti-war elements in the Federal Security Service of Russia" prevented the murder.

Russian media, meanwhile, reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not appeared in the Kremlin for a week. The Russians speculate that he may be in a bunker in the Urals.

The former Ukrainian Prime Minister Azarov said President Zelenskyy could be in a bunker in the heart of Kyiv as this bunker is so strong that it will not be affected by a nuclear attack. He also said that thousands of people in Kyiv are hiding in bunkers to save their lives.

Survives Three Assassination Attempts

Zelensky dodged an assassination attempt just last Saturday when he was on the outskirts of Kyiv after a group of Chechen assassins were eliminated before they could get to him.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been moved to a bunker as Russian forces converge on the capital Kyiv, according to Ukraine Medias. Zelensky was moved to a secret location within the central part of Kyiv. Zelensky cautioned that he and his family were being targeted by Russian sabotage units which aimed to destroy Ukraine by eliminating the head of state. He said he was staying in the government quarter along with other leaders in the capital.
