England take on Czech Republic in EURO 2020 Group D in London on Tuesday 22 June at 21:00 CET (2 am, June 23, Asean time). The match will be held at Wembley Stadium.

Both teams have won one and drawn one so far, setting this match up as a decider for top spot.

England qualify for Euro 2020 last 16 following Group B and C results. Monday's results mean if England did slip to third in Group D they would still go through as one of the best third-place teams with four points; Scotland will also definitely qualify for the Euro 2020 knockout stage if they beat Croatia.

England need to win at Wembley to go through as group winners and a positive result is required to finish in the top two, but any stress over qualification has been removed by results elsewhere.

Monday's results saw Ukraine and Finland finish third in their respective groups on three points apiece, meaning that if England did slip to that place they would still go through.

Switzerland, Sweden, Czech Republic and France are also through to the last 16.

Czech Republic vs England team news

Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell are isolating ahead of the game after coming into contact with Chelsea team-mate Gilmour at England’s draw against Scotland.

That leaves their inclusion for Tuesday’s game in doubt as things stand, though Southgate has confirmed that Harry Kane will start.

Southgate has confirmed Kane will start. The Three Lions skipper failed to have a shot on target in the opening two games and was subbed off in both matches.

Despite that, Southgate has revealed Kane will start, saying: “He is fundamental not only to the goals he scores but the build-up play and everything else he brings.”

Phil Foden may be dropped given he will be suspended if he gets booked, and that will allow Southgate to respond to the clamour to play Jack Grealish.
