Confederate Memorial Day

Up to eight days can pass during Passover (seven days for Reform Jewish groups). On the final day of Passover, a large number of Jews keep to the majority of Sabbath observances. This time of year is when some people choose to take a vacation. In addition, Jews visit synagogues, offer special blessings or prayers, partake in ceremonial meals, and hear Torah readings during this time.
The Seder is a ceremonial meal that is enjoyed by many Jewish families in the US. It tells the tale of the exodus from Egypt and features symbolic foods like bitter herbs and paschal lamb meat, which symbolizes the hard life of slavery.
