Episode 7 of WandaVision hit Disney Plus with bombshell after bombshell, from new magical powers to a theme song that's so good Marvel has released it on Spotify. Agatha All Along features at the top of WandaVision's official playlist on Spotify, along with every other nostalgic theme tune written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. The pair worked with WandaVision composer Christoph Beck on Frozen 1 and 2, and a few of his pieces from the WandaVision soundtrack can be appreciated on Spotify too.
Massive spoiler alert
WandaVision took a big left-turn last episode when Agnes (Katheryn Hahn) was revealed to also have powers, which she'd been using for Wanda-tormenting purposes. Her part in bringing Wanda's late brother Pietro to Westview and other manipulative deeds was revealed inefficient and entertaining fashion via her new theme song. Oh, and she's not Agnes, but Agatha Harkness, a witch in Marvel Comics.
Sadly, WandaVision is coming to an end -- only two episodes are left. Catch the next one on Friday, and remember to stick around through the credits, according to Cnet.

The song premiered last Friday and immediately went viral. It played during the series when Agnes, played by Kathryn Hahn, was revealed to be Agatha Harkness. Hahn sings vocals on the track.
Agnes (Hahn) was Wanda and Vision's nosy neighbor, but viewers suspected there was more to the character. The big reveal came at the end of episode seven, titled "Breaking the Fourth Wall," when Agnes was revealed to villain Agatha, a witch who pulls the strings in Westview, CNN Entertainment reported.

The “Agatha All Along” lyrics even spell (no pun intended) it out, accompanied by footage of Hahn in every different sitcom time period from throughout the previous seven episodes:
Who's been messing up everything?
It's been Agatha all along
Who's been pulling every evil string?
It's been Agatha all along
She's insidious (Ha, ha!)
So perfidious
That you haven't even noticed
And the pity is (The pity is)
Pity, pity, pity, pity
It's too late to fix anything
Now that everything has gone wrong
Thanks to Agatha (Ha!)
Naughty Agatha
It's been Agatha all along
And I killed Sparky too!
AgnesIn the first episode, Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) was introduced as Wanda and Vision’s nosy neighbor in their seemingly idyllic suburban life. As the story began to unravel, fans began to speculate who Hahn’s character really was. At the end of episode seven, which was titled “Breaking the Fourth Wall,” it was revealed Agnes was actually the Marvel Comics character Agatha Harkness, who is a powerful witch that served as a mentor to Scarlett Witch. It turned out that Wanda was not the only magical being controlling the citizens of Westview, and that “Agnes” was responsible for many oddities such as Pietro Maximoff’s surprise return and Sparky’s death, Variety noted. |
