Cleaning Burnt Oil

To clean the burnt oil of the pan, dish or cookware you have to follow some easy steps. At first, Make a mixture of water and baking soda and make a paste of them. Now, spread the paste over the burnt area and scrub it properly.
After scrubbing keep it for a while. Now wash it properly. It will clean the burnt oil very easily.
On the other hand, to remove the grease from the pan, use baking soda along with vinegar. Sprinkle some baking soda in the cookware or pan and pour some vinegar into it. Now scrub gently. Repeat the process twice or thrice, according to Kitchen Peak.
First wash utensils with hot sudsy clean water. Rinse thoroughly with clear water.
Mix a sanitizing solution consisting of ¼ cup of chlorine bleach per gallon of potable water. Bleach should contain a minimum of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite.
To disinfect, soak utensils completely in this solution for at least 1 minute. Then allow to air dry.
Do not let metal pots, pans and other utensils sit in bleach for much longer, or they will discolor from the chemical reaction. And do not mix bleach with other cleaners.
If potable water is not available, disinfect it by bring it to a rolling boil and keeping it there for at least 1 minute (3 minutes in high altitudes).
If using a dishwasher which first needs to be sanitized, run the empty dishwasher through the wash-rinse-sanitize cycle three times to flush the water lines and assure that the dishwasher is cleaned and sanitized internally before washing equipment and utensils in it.
Do not use a dishwashing liquid to wash your cast-iron pans. Rinsing them with warm water is enough. However, if you want to give them a thorough cleaning, sprinkle some salt over your cast-iron pans. Scrub off the salt with a sponge and rinse to remove the residual salt. Ensure that the pan is dried properly before you put it away. Dampness will cause your pans to rust.
