The WWE Network is making an unprecedented move to Peacock, the official streaming service of NBC.
It’s rare that two large streaming services join forces like this, which has resulted in some confusion and concern for some WWE Network subscribers. But don’t worry! Here’s a guide to everything you need to know about the move, including how to save by signing up for Peacock right now.
When does the WWE Network move to Peacock?
The WWE Network is making the jump to Peacock on Thursday, March 18. It is important to note that the official press release mentions that March 18 will be the “beginning” of adding the WWE Network to Peacock, implying that all content might not immediately be transferred at launch, Decider reported.
Will my WWE Network subscription automatically transfer over to Peacock?

No. At the moment, there is no automatic transfer from one service to the other, according to the WWE. At this point, it is unlikely they will add one. In other words, WWE Network users will have to manually subscribe to Peacock on their own in order to watch beginning March 18.
What WWE content is coming to Peacock?
The first Peacock-exclusive WWE pay-per-view show will be “WWE Fastlane” on Sunday, March 21. Beyond that, the new WWE Network tab being offered by the service will feature original series like “Undertaker: The Last Ride,” in-ring shows like “NXT” and “NXT UK,” archives of past pay-per-view events, and tons of new documentaries.
What does WWE Network cost on Peacock? How much money will this save me?
Wrestling fans will save as much as $5 per month with the move. The WWE Network costs $9.99 per month as a standalone. Now, with Peacock, much of the same content will be available for as little as $4.99, depending on the package.
Most importantly, Peacock is offering a 50% discount to WWE fans until April 9. Make sure you don’t miss it.
What else comes with my Peacock subscription?
As for Peacock’s non-wrestling library, it serves as the official streaming home of NBC’s extensive roster of TV shows, ranging from “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” to “Saturday Night Live.” There are plenty of other exclusive, non-NBC titles to choose from, as well, including “Yellowstone,” “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “Shrek” and “The Fast and the Furious” franchise, NJ wrote.
How to watch WWE on Peacock
Peacock began streaming WWE Network shows and events on March 18. The NBCUniversal streaming platform is now one of the most comprehensive places to watch WWE content, although other services will carry select programs as well.
You can watch WWE events and shows on Peacock through the Peacock web browser, or the Peacock app on PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Chromecast, Roku, iOS, Apple TV, Android, LG smart TVs, and Vizio smart TVs.
Existing WWE shows that air on network TV, however, will continue to be broadcast on those channels. This includes series like "Smackdown" and "Raw." With that said, NBCUniversal's press release mentions replays of "Smackdown and "Raw" episodes will be shown on Peacock.
New episodes of "SmackDown" air on Fox via cable, antenna, or any live streaming service that carries the channel. "RAW," on the other hand, airs on the USA Network. Live streaming services with Fox and USA include Sling TV, FuboTV, and Hulu + Live TV, according to Businessinsider.
Peacock Premium, what’s it cost, how do you sign up to watch WWE Network?

Peacock Premium is going to be the exclusive home for the WWE Network’s huge library of pro wrestling content and upcoming live events.
Starting on March 18, 2021, Peacock, the relatively new TV streaming service from NBC will begin the rollout of thousands of hours of new, original, and archived WWE Network programming onto the platform. It will also be the new home of WWE Network’s full 24/7 broadcast lineup for fans who need their WWE fix all day every day.
Peacock is divided into three tiers. Anyone can sign up for a free Peacock account, much like Hulu, and begin streaming from a huge library of content, including episodes of “The Office,” “Parks & Recreation,” and more.
You can upgrade to Peacock Premium for $4.99 per month, including a 7-day free trial, to unlock everything Peacock has to offer, including all episodes of all series on the platform, Peacock exclusive channels, live sports including Premier League soccer, and next-day access to the latest episodes of hit TV series.
Finally, if you can’t stand commercials, you can upgrade to the $9.99 per month plan, which is exactly the same as Peacock Premium but removes ads and lets you download content to watch offline.
So where does WWE Network fit into all that? If you have Peacock Premium, the entirety of WWE Network’s library will be available to you for no additional charge. If you’re a current WWE Network subscriber, that’s a big deal. Right now, WWE Network subscribers pay $9.99 per month. When Network migrates to Peacock Premium, they’ll be saving $5 per month and getting more content.
WWE Network and Peacock Premium are over-the-top streaming services not available on cable or satellite TV. Conversely, NBC and NBC Sports channels are not included in your Peacock subscription, Syracuse noted.
What WWE events and shows can I watch on Peacock?WWE Network's move to Peacock means over 17,000 hours of content, a 24/7 WWE Network channel, classic matches, and plenty of live and on-demand programs on the streaming service. Peacock will air pay-per-view events, like "SummerSlam" and "WrestleMania," without any extra fees. The streaming service will kick off its events schedule with "Fastlane" on March 21. Fans can sign up for WWE's ThunderDome to be part of the event's virtual audience. Besides new events, the WWE Network on Peacock features series like "WWE Icons," in-ring shows like "NXT" and "NXT UK," documentaries like "WWE 365," and a single "signature" documentary each year beginning in 2022. |
