4.ActiveSG Sport Centres

Selected matches were screened live at 5 of ActiveSG’s Sport Centres and at the Singapore Sports Hub during World Cup 2018. It is unknown if more sport centres and more matches will be offered for World Cup 2022. Watch this section for updates nearer to the date.

5.Peoples' Association (PA) Community Clubs

55 community clubs across central, eastern, western, and northern Singapore provided free live screening of World Cup matches in 2018. It is highly likely that the same will be offered to Singaporeans and residents in 2022. Stay tuned for the list of CCs and matches it will cover.

6.Changi Airport

Visitors to Singapore on a transit flight may be in for free live screenings of World Cup 2022 at all terminals, similar to its 2018 edition.

Apart from travellers, locals were also in for a treat at its debut screening held in the public area of Changi Airport Terminal 3 that year. A large 7 metre by 4 metre LED TV screen, football-shaped inflatable seats and cosy lounge chairs were provided to all visitors. There were also winner guessing contests where participants stood to win Changi Gift cards by guessing the winning team of each match.

Let’s hope Changi Airport will make this a tradition from this year onwards. Look out for more updates.

7.Lau Pa Sat

The iconic 150-year-old Lau Pa Sat, a hawker centre popular with tourists and office workers in the Central Business District (CBD), will be holding a ‘Football Fiesta @ Lau Pa Sat’ event from 21 November to 18 December 2022. Live screening of all World Cup 2022 matches on a mega 130-inch LED screen, accompanied with live band performances and attractive F&B promotions will be offered during this period.

Head on down with your colleagues after work (some of the matches will be held at 6pm and 9pm, Singapore time)! Admission is free, but you may consider spending a couple of dollars to get some beer and snacks to go along.
