Nothing makes sports fans happier than watching their favorite teams compete. It doesn't matter if they've played the sport before. It's about rooting for the players and teams that fans identify with. MLS is no different. Unfortunately, MLS matches can only be viewed on certain platforms or cable channels.
These streaming services and cable networks are only available in the United States, Canada, and a few other countries, preventing viewers in other countries from accessing them. Because of distribution rights, licensing agreements, and copyright regulations, this is the case. If you try to watch MLS games online from outside the United States or Canada, you will receive an error message stating that the service is unavailable.
How to Watch MLS Online With Cable
This season, the simplest way to watch free MLS games is to use an over-the-air (OTA) antenna to catch all games airing on FOX. But first, enter your zip code into the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Reception Map Tool to see if a FOX affiliate is within range of your home.
If you live near a FOX station, you can use any antenna with a wide enough range to pick up the channel. The Mohu Leaf 50 ($47.99 on Amazon*) is our pick because it can receive signals from broadcast towers up to 60 miles away. It's also 4K-ready and has a slim design that's simple to install in your home.
Besides FOX, local channels like ABC, CBS, and NBC air professional soccer games. ABC occasionally airs Bundesliga and La Liga matches, CBS has some UEFA Champions League and NWSL coverage, and NBC typically airs a Premier League game once a week. So, keep an eye out for those channels when you use the Reception Map Tool.
How to Watch MLS Online Without Cable
MLS signed a 10-year streaming agreement with Apple TV this year, leaving its previous broadcaster, ESPN. Every game will be shown on Apple TV's new MLS Season Pass app, a large portion of games will be shown on Apple TV (without the add-on MLS Season Pass app), and approximately one game per week will be available on cable and satellite TV via FOX or FS1.

-Season Pass for Major League Soccer (493 games)
-FOX (15 games) (15 games)
-FS1 (19 games) (19 games)
-Fox Deportes (34 Spanish-language games)
TSN and RDS will broadcast select regular-season and playoff games in Canada, including the MLS Cup Final. League Cup Group Stage and Round of 32 matches will also be broadcast on the two channels.
