Tay-K's Second Murder Conviction

The fatal shooting occurred on April 23, 2017, at a Chick-fil-A parking lot near North Star Mall in San Antonio. Prosecutors said Saldivar was robbed and then fatally shot during a confrontation involving Tay-K and his associates. The incident took place while Tay-K was on the run after escaping house arrest for a previous murder charge. The First Conviction: 2016 Home Invasion Murder
Before the Bexar County conviction, Tay-K was already serving a 55-year prison sentence for his role in the 2016 home invasion and murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker in Mansfield, Texas. Tay-K was just 16 years old at the time of the crime but was tried as an adult. In that case, Tay-K and a group of accomplices broke into Walker’s home intending to rob him. The situation escalated, ending in Walker’s death.
McIntyre pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery and was found guilty of murder after a jury trial. Though he was not the gunman, Texas law allowed for the felony murder charge due to his role in planning and participating in the robbery.
