Elizabeth Jane Hurley was born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, to Angela Mary (Titt), a teacher, and Roy Leonard Hurley, an army major. Wanting to be a dancer, Hurley went to ballet boarding school at 12, but soon returned home.

Elizabeth Hurley revealed that her own mother, Angela Mary Hurley, was the photographer behind her racy topless photos she posted this week.

“Far be it for me to suggest the tabloids get their facts muddled, but these pics were in fact taken by my 80 year old mother,” Hurley, 55, tweeted on Tuesday along with the risqué photos, adding, “Not entirely sure if that puts minds at rest or not.”

She added her note with a winking kissy-face emoji.

The model posed topless for her mom in the snow wearing an open furry coat and bikini bottoms from her brand Elizabeth Hurley Beach in an Instagram posted on Monday.

“How could I resist?” she captioned the post.

Several fans were impressed by mama Hurley’s camera work.

“God bless you both for this lovely content. Stunning!” another wrote.

“Well done mum, great pics Elizabeth, amazing what a stir you caused with a couple of pics, fantastic!” added one more.

The following morning, Piers Morgan took Elizabeth to task over her post. "Yeah, she looks fabulous, but what are you doing Liz? A bit of snow and you get your kit off...

His co-host Susanna Reid, meanwhile, was quick to jump to the model's defence. "You can't accuse other people of being thirsty when you're on national television and you have at least two columns and you're on every single podcast!" she retorted.

Piers Morgan, prominent broadcaster and journalist slams the photoes of Liz Hurley.

But Piers continued: "You can think two things when you look at it - one, she looks great. Which she does. But also, 55? Getting your 19-year-old son to take pictures of you stripping off in the snow?"

"Sorry. After women go over 50 are they not allowed to bare any flesh?" Susanna hit back. "That's what happened to Davina McCall! She got trolled," she added, in reference to cruel comments aimed at the TV host on Monday.

”And who took the pictures? Your 19-year-old son, you said, took the pictures? Isn't that creepy? What is all this! It's what we call in the business 'thirsty and creepy'."
