Four contestants were in the finale and represented each of the coaches – Okulaja (from Team will.i.am), Hannah Williams (from Team Tom Jones), Grace Holden (from Team Olly Murs) and Craig Eddie (from Team Anne-Marie).
Each finalist performed twice – singing on their own and in a duet with their coach, after which there was a vote to decide who would go into the final two.
In the end, it came down to Grace and Craig, and after both performing one more time, the public crowned Craig Eddie as their 2021 winner of The Voice UK.
The singer broke down as he was announced to have won the show by host Emma Willis during the live final on Saturday night. "I still am shocked, I honestly am, thank you to everyone, thank you to Scotland, thank you to anyone who voted, thank you, Anne-Marie, for believing me and believing in me and taking me to this point to the public vote," he declared.
Anne-Marie said: "I'm just so proud of you Craig, from where you started out you are a different person. You tell people you have anxiety. I get what you are going through. You are something special."
Craig tweeted about his progression through the series: "Thank you Anne-Marie for taking me to public vote, you changed my life in the best way possible. Let's do this."
