Who is Bella Hadid: Biography, Career and Why is World's Most Beautiful Woman by Science

According to a study by renowned cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva, Bella Hadid holds the crown for the most beautiful woman in the world.
De Silva compiled his list of top 10 women by using what is referred to as the Golden Ratio theory. This "divine proportion" was theorized in Ancient Greece, then used during the Renaissance by esteemed artists to create perfect works of art. Relishing in modern-day time, the cosmetic surgeon has made completely different use of the rule in order to reveal which women are mathematically close to physical perfection.

Isabella Khair Hadid is an American model, signed to IMG Models in 2014. In December 2016, the Industry voted her "Model of the Year" for Model.com's Model of the Year 2016 Awards.
Isabella Khair Hadid was born in Washington, D.C. & raised in Los Angeles, California to real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid and former model Yolanda Hadid. Her mother is a Dutch-born American, and her father is Palestinian American. Hadid has two siblings, an older sister named Gigi, who is also a model, and a younger brother, Anwar. She has two older half-sisters, Marielle and Alana, on her father's side.
Hadid and her siblings were originally raised on a ranch in Santa Barbara, California for ten years. As a teenager, Hadid was an equestrian and had dreams of attending the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro but had to give up competing in 2013 due to her suffering from chronic Lyme disease. It was not announced that she suffered from chronic Lyme until October 2015. She was diagnosed, along with her mother and brother, with the chronic illness in 2012.
In fall of 2014, Hadid moved to New York City and began studying photography at the Parsons School of Design, signing to IMG shortly before. She has since dropped out of school due to the success of her modeling career, but has expressed interest in returning to school to take on Fashion Photography as a career once she is done modeling. Hadid has also expressed interest in acting.
Modeling runs in her family
Bella is the second daughter of Mohamed and Yolanda Hadid, who divorced in 2000. Her father is a real-estate mogul and her mother, before starring on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," rose to fame as a teenager after being signed to the Ford agency. Yolanda seemingly passed her supermodel genes down to all three of her children. Shortly after Gigi Hadid broke into the industry in 2014 as the cover girl for CR Fashion Book, Bella followed suit with a slew of runway shows. Anwar, their little brother, is currently growing his own brand after signing with the same agency as his sisters, IMG Models, in 2016. "I've shot my children since they were born," Yolanda said on Australia's "Today Extra." "I always dressed them up, shot them at the barn on the horses… [but] I was always very strict about the fact that I never wanted them to really work until they're 18 years old. I really didn't want anybody judging them on the way that they looked." |
Personal Life
She was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2013 — and still struggles with the chronic symptoms.
Bella's mother, who also struggles with chronic symptoms of the tick-borne illness — including exhaustion, joint pain, and fatigue — opened up about Bella's diagnosis on "Real Housewives."
"I have two children that have severe, suppressed immune systems," she said. "Both Bella and Anwar have Lyme disease. … We lived on a horse ranch. We had ticks everywhere, every day of our lives."
Yolanda also wrote on her Bravo TV blog that, since their diagnoses in 2013, Bella and Anwar "have been in extensive holistic treatment."
She was arrested in July 2014 for driving under influence. Her driver’s license was suspended for a year and she also received probation for six months.
In 2015, she started dating Canadian singer Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, who is popularly known as The Weeknd. The couple broke up in 2016.
She was bullied in school because of her "weird face." Bella told InStyle in May that she had to "learn how to be" confident after feeling insecure as a teen. "I had a small waist and big hips and was kind of chubby. I love them now, but I was always self-conscious of my hips — whereas my sister had a six-pack and was very athletic," she said. "And I thought I had such a weird face. I remember very distinctly getting bullied because of my features." "People think I got all this surgery or did this or that. And you know what? We can do a scan of my face, darling," she continued. "I'm scared of putting fillers into my lips. I wouldn't want to mess up my face." |

Supermodel Bella Hadid has been declared the most beautiful woman in the world after she passed a science test that determines what constitutes the 'perfect face'.
The "Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi" defines beauty in accordance to classic Greek calculations. Measurements of facial proportions are done going by standards that Greek scholars applied while trying to define beauty with scientific formula.
According to the "Golden Ratio" measurements, 23-year-old Bella has a face that is 94.35 per cent perfect.
Also, going by the parameters of the "Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi", pop diva Beyonce finished at the second spot. She has a face that is 92.44 per cent perfect.
She was found to be 94.35% 'accurate' to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi - a measure of physical perfection. Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape came closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection. The measurements were conducted by Dr Julian De Silva, an emminent facial cosmetic surgeon at London's famous Harley Street. Scientists have since adapted the mathematical formula to explain what makes a person beautiful. Hadid, according to Silva, had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7%, only 0.3% away from being perfect. |
