Neither Zendaya nor Holland has actually confirmed or denied their relationship. Here are the biography and a timeline of their rumored dating history.
Who is Tom Holland?
Tom Holland is a British actor, best known for portraying the famous superhero, Spider-Man. Tom played Peter Parker in popular Hollywood flicks, such as ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming,’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ and ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ He began his acting career at the age of 12, when he made his ‘West End’ theatre debut on June 28, 2008. He played an important role in the popular act ‘Billy Elliot the Musical,’ which eventually earned him the opportunity to meet the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Gordon Brown. Tom made his first television appearance in September 2008 when he was interviewed by ‘Channel 5.’ In 2011, he made his film debut and went on to act in super hit movies. Tom Holland has won many awards for his acting skills. In 2017, he received the prestigious ‘British Academy Film Award’ (BAFTA).

From A Theater Kid In England To A Marvel Superstar
Childhood and Early Life
Thomas Stanley Holland was born on June 1, 1996, in London, England. He was raised by his parents, Nicola Elizabeth, and Dominic Holland. While his father, Dominic, is a comedian, his mother is working as a photographer. As a kid, he used to spend a lot of time with his twin brothers, Sam and Harry, and another younger brother Paddy.
Tom went to ‘Donhead Preparatory School,’ an independent day school situated in Wimbledon, southwest London. Right from his school days, Tom exhibited keen interest in dance and hence started attending dance classes. But he was bullied by his schoolmates for having a liking towards dance.
After completing his school education, as thefamouspeople reported, he attended ‘Wimbledon College,’ from where he graduated in the year 2012. He then attended the prestigious ‘BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology,’ from where he learnt the nuances of acting and dancing.

During the 2006 ‘Richmond Dance Festival,’ Tom was seen dancing at ‘Nifty Feet Dance School,’ where he was spotted by a choreographer named Lynne Page, who was working as an assistant to the popular choreographer, Peter Darling. Looking at his dancing skills, Lynne Page somehow knew that Tom would later become a popular entertainer and hence, he took Tom under his wings.
Tom was auditioned on eight occasions and was trained for two years, after which he landed the opportunity to play Billy’s best friend Michael in ‘Billy Elliot the Musical.’ Since it was his ‘West End’ debut, he gained popularity as a theatre artist.
Career and Movies
Breakout Role in 'The Impossible'
According to biography.com, not long after hanging up his dance shoes for Billy Elliot, Holland was tapped to voice the character of Sho for the British version of the animated The Secret World of Arrietty (2010). However, it was his performance in The Impossible (2012) that firmly established him as one of the industry's promising young talents. Based on a true account of the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004, Holland shined as an adolescent who tends to his injured mother (Naomi Watts) as he searches for his missing father (Ewan McGregor), garnering an array of award nominations. Holland was 13 when he tried out for the role as the eldest son.
Spider-Man
Following a turn in the drama How I Live Now (2013), Holland landed a supporting part in the 2015 BBC historical miniseries Wolf Hall. Shortly afterward, his path to global stardom was launched with the announcement that he would take over the role of Peter Parker for the latest reboot of Spider-Man. Unlike his predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who were in their mid-to-late 20s when tapped for Spidey, the 19-year-old Holland was much closer in age to Peter Parker's troubled high school student turned superhero.
'Spider-Man: Homecoming' and 'Far From Home'
In the spring of 2016, Holland made his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. Despite limited screen time, he drew strong reviews for his version of the iconic web slinger, paving the way for his anticipated — and well received — performance in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. Holland then reprised his superhero role in the ensemble blockbusters Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), before adding the next chapter to his character's story with Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

'Spider-Man: Far From Home' directly followed the events of "Endgame," and showed Peter trying to live a normal life and explore Europe with his friends, until Nick Fury recruited him for a new mission. "Far From Home" also introduced a character named Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Holland previously that it was making the movie without Downey Jr., who's his real-life and on-screen mentor, was "emotional."
'In the Heart of the Sea,' 'The Lost City of Z'
Meanwhile, Holland had other acting obligations to fulfill. The epic In the Heart of the Sea (2015) was a box-office flop, but it provided another showcase for the burgeoning star, as well as the chance to test his mettle amid difficult shooting conditions. He then featured prominently in 2016's Edge of Winter and The Lost City of Z, before starring in the medieval action drama Pilgrimage (2017).
‘Avengers: Infinity War'
In 2018, he once again reprised his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Studios’ superhero film, ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ Tom has a host of upcoming films under his belt. Though he is growing from strength to strength as an actor, Tom says his ultimate goal is to become a director in Hollywood.
'Spies in Disguise,' 'Dolittle', 'Avenger: Endgame'
In late 2019, Holland teamed up with Will Smith for the animated adventure Spies in Disguise. He then voiced the character of Jip the dog in the star-studded Dolittle (2020), before preparing for another leading voice role in Pixar's Onward.
In 'Avenger: Endgame', after being resurrected, Peter jumped into battle with the other Avengers for a final battle against Thanos. The movie was a huge success and hit more than $1 billion at the box office.
'The Devil All the Time'
The thriller film was based on a book written by Donald Ray Pollock. In the movie, Holland and Pattinson played adversaries named Arvin Russell and Preston Teagarden, respectively. As insider reported, the Marvel star told Esquire that he was a fan of Pattinson prior to becoming costars because of the actor's work in "Twilight."
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’
Spider-Man: No Way Home promises to give us more of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker — and maybe a few other Spider-Men. Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters on December 17. Holland returns in the titular role alongside his fellow Spider-Man staples including Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau and J.K. Simmons as Jonah Jameson, who made his film debut in 2002’s Spider-Man.
The second trailer, as US Magazine reported, released November 16, gives fans a better idea of what's happening. After Doctor Strange and Peter's spell to make everyone forget that he's Spider-Man goes awry, villains from different universes start appearing. The Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro and Sandman all visit, and Strange explains that they all die fighting Spider-Man in their respective worlds. "It's their fate," Strange says before apologizing to the webslinger.

Zendaya started acting as a child, appearing in productions at the California Shakespeare Theater and other theatrical companies near her hometown of Oakland, California. From A Disney Channel Star To A Blockbuster Darling
Childhood and Early Life
Born on September 1, 1996, in Oakland, California, actress and singer Zendaya came from a theatrical background. As the daughter of a stage manager, she spent much of her youth hanging around the California Shakespeare Theater. She also trained in its youth program and appeared in some of its productions.
As biography.com reported, during her days as a student at the Oakland School for the Arts, Zendaya landed a number of roles in local theatrical productions. She also honed her craft at the American Conservatory Theater and the Cal Shakes Conservatory. Zendaya had an interest in dance as well. She was a member of the Future Shock Oakland dance group for several years and studied hula dancing at the Academy of Hawaiian Arts.
Movies and TV Shows
Shake It Up
When she was 14 years old, according to insider, Zendaya appeared on her first TV show, Disney Channel's "Shake It Up," as Rocky Blue. She acted and danced alongside fellow rising star Bella Thorne until the series ended in 2013.
'A.N.T. Farm,' 'Good Luck Charlie,' 'Frenemies'
Outside of her hit show, Zendaya lent her voice to the animated television movie Pixie Hollow Games (2011). She also made guest appearances on such series as A.N.T. Farm and Good Luck Charlie, and starred with Thorne in the 2012 television movie Frenemies.
Dancing with the Stars
In 2013 Zendaya made the switch from the imaginary dance show to the popular televised competition Dancing with the Stars. She was paired with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy on the show, and competed against such celebrities as Andy Dick, Kellie Pickler and Aly Raisman. Her previous experience, however, didn't prove to be much help. As she told Good Morning America, "I'm really used to hip hop dancing ... So I kind of have to forget what I know and restart all over again."

'K.C. Undercover,' 'Spider-Man,' 'The Greatest Showman'
After Dancing With the Stars, Zendaya starred in the Disney comedy K.C. Undercover for three seasons before making a splash on the big screen in 2017 with Spider-Man: Homecoming and The Greatest Showman, playing the role of Anne Wheeler alongside Hugh Jackman in the latter. In 2018 Zendaya lent her voice to two animation films: Duck Duck Goose and Smallfoot. She then reprised her role as Michelle "M.J." Jones in Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
'Euphoria'
Distancing herself from her Disney image, Zendaya signed on for the starring role of Rue in the HBO series Euphoria. Based on the turbulent adolescent years of creator Sam Levinson, the show generated buzz ahead of its June 2019 debut for its graphic depictions of teen drug use and sexuality.
Speaking to The New York Times about the show's provocative content, Zendaya said, "I don't find it that shocking, to be honest. People will. I kind of accepted the fact that it would be polarizing. ... Whether people like it or not, it's real. I'm telling somebody's story. Just because it's not happening to you doesn't mean it's not happening all the time, every day."
Zendaya and Tom Holland's Relationship Timeline
It wasn't hard to tell Zendaya and her co-star, Tom Holland, had a bit of chemistry.
2016
According to Glamour, the pair meet on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. “We are like the best of friends. She’s so great and amazing,” Holland tells People at the time. “I’m a little worried [about dealing with fame…but] Zendaya is super famous and she’s been through this, and I just call her up and say, ‘How do I manage being famous?’ I’m very glad I have a friend like her.”
2017
Shortly after their now-world-renowned episode of Lip Sync Battle, an unnamed source tells People that Zendaya and Holland are dating! Huzzah! “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye,” the source claims, “but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.” They also assert that Holland is “practically moved into Zendaya’s new L.A. mansion.”
Then, as thecut reported, Zendaya and Holland swiftly set the record straight: No, they are not dating. Despair! In fact, Zendaya tweets that she hasn’t taken a vacation “in years,” let alone with her Spider-Man co-star. The next month, Zendaya speaks out about the dating rumors saying, “It happens all the time, and of course we expected it … I mean, it comes with the territory. It comes with the job, so it’s all good.”

2018
The two kept a low profile as they filmed their second Spider-Man movie throughout Europe. Tom was as much in awe of Zendaya's 2018 Met Gala look as you were. In fact, he even posted about it on Instagram. "All hail the queen," he wrote. "Killing it, mate".
2019-2020
Peter and MJ got together in Spider-Man: Far From Home, sharing their first onscreen kiss. Zendaya spotted kissing Elordi in New York City in February 2020, but he was confirmed to be dating Kaia Gerber seven months later. February 2021
Holland accidentally gave Zendaya's Instagram handle a cheeky placement in a social media upload, which sparked romance rumors again.
“You mean, because I tagged Zendaya over my groin in an Instagram post?” Holland quipped to British GQ when asked about relationship speculation.
“That was so funny; it was obviously a mistake," he explained. "But in all seriousness, it is also incredibly frustrating. It’s very nerve-racking. It means that if you are dating someone, you have to be really conscious of their feelings, because if something does happen between the two of you, it’s not just happening between the two of you, it’s happening in front of the entire world. And it can be very complicated. It’s one of the things I worry about most, of all the things in my career.”

November 2021
In an interview with Total Film, Holland says he’s “very happy and in love,” though he doesn’t mention anyone by name.
GQ publishes an interview with Holland in which he talks about his relationship with Zendaya in the most candid way to date. “One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland said, referring to the aforementioned car pictures. “I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway,” he said. “We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.” When asked whether he felt they weren’t ready to share their relationship, Holland said, “I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to.”
So, are they together together? The world may never know for sure! But, with all due respect to their privacy, we’ll take any and all Tom-daya content we can get.
