10. Ralph Sampson

A former American basketball player named Ralph Lee Sampson Jr. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

As a 7-foot-4 prodigy, three-time College Player of the Year, and first-round pick in the 1983 NBA Draft, Sampson entered the NBA with high expectations. Sampson was the NBA Rookie of the Year for his first three seasons with the Houston Rockets, averaging 20.7 points and 10.9 rebounds before injuries started to take their toll.

Sampson with his gigantic height of 7’4 is regarded as one of the tallest NBA players of all time.

Sim Bhullar, a Canadian player of Indian descent who stands 7 feet 5 inches tall, joined the NBA, which generated a lot of excitement among Indian fans.

He had the chance to play for the Sacramento Kings against Minnesota in 2014 after joining the team. He was only there for ceremonial purposes because the game was in the hands of the Kings. Later, he only participated in 2 more games for his squad, which wasn't particularly noteworthy.

Russian basketball player Pavel Podkolzin is a gifted player who has competed for the NBA and the NBA Development League. Fans were absolutely crazed by his height of 7 feet 5 inches. He made his professional debut with Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in the 2001–2002 campaign.

Pavel also agreed to play for Metis Varese, but only for two years. He signed an NBA draft contract with team Jazz in 2004 before switching to Mavericks in the 2005 NBA draft. He had the talent to be chosen for the first round of the draft, but he withdrew from the 2004 draft due to a pituitary gland disorder.

Pavel is regarded for his size and strength as a blocker, and he was incredibly skilled during the match. At the European Cadets Championship, he competed for the Russian National team and took home a silver medal.

7. Chuck Nevitt

The only player on this list of the tallest basketball players who has ever won the NBA championship is now here. Chuck Nevitt began his 11-year NBA career as a member of the Houston Rockets, but he frequently changed teams during that time. He finally decided to leave the Sun Antonio Spurs.

This 7 feet 5 inch man only played 155 games overall with a career total of 251 points before switching teams like a confused man. He is, however, best known for being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers squad that won the NBA championship in 1985.

During that season, Nevitt averaged 1.4 blocks per game in an effort to win the title of NBA champion.

6. Tacko Fall

The tallest basketball player currently competing in the 2019–20 NBA season is Senegalese player Tacko Fall, who stands 7 feet 6 inches tall.

He signed with the Boston Celtics after demonstrating a great deal of potential as a defensive center of the highest caliber. Tacko, however, hasn't been able to live up to expectations since his debut. He only scored 3.2 points per game in his 6 games.

He can hardly run from one corner of the court to the other during transitions. It is difficult to predict the success of this tallest NBA player given his lack of athleticism. He still has a long career ahead of him, though. Who knows, he may choose to focus more on his shortcomings in order to demonstrate his potential later in the NBA.

Slavko Vrane, a former basketball player who was one of the tallest NBA players in history, was born in 1983 and played for the team Ayandez Sazan Tehran. Due to his exceptional talent, Slavko began playing basketball for the Serbian club at a young age.

The Turkish club invited him to play in the basketball league during the 2000–01 season because of his incredible skills. His debut game for the Knicks against the Minnesota Timberwolves was played on January 8, 2004, not long after gaining some NBA attention. In the second round of the 2003 NBA draft, Slavko was chosen.

He later signed a ten-day contract with the Trail Blazers after leaving the Knicks team for an unknown reason.

In accordance with his NBA season 2004 contract, he only participated in one game. Slavko then joined FK Crvena Zvezda and later transferred to play for Budunost Podgorica for three years.

Being one of the tallest players in the NBA, he began signing contracts with different teams and garnered numerous team championships.

He started his professional career as the Philadelphia 76er in the year 1993. Shawn plays for Dallas Mavericks for 7 years after that.

During his final season, he was the NBA's tallest active player at 2.29 meters (7 ft 6 in) He played for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association as well as the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

He co-wrote Yao: A Life in Two Worlds with NBA analyst Ric Bucher, and The Year of the Yao was a documentary about his first season in the NBA. Yao was one of the NBA's tallest players at 7 feet 6 inches.

An American athlete named Manute Bol was born in Sudan. Manute, whose name means "special blessing," was given to him by his father. Manute was born with a tremendous physical height because both of his parents were tall. Due to his height, he initially started playing football but soon gave up and focused on basketball in Sudan. Coach Feeley made the trip to Sudan from New Jersey to provide the Sudanese team's medical facility.

Feeley suggested Manute play basketball in the United States. After that, he traveled to Cleveland, where he was put on probation due to his false birth certificate and subpar English. By enrolling in the institute, he developed his skills, and eventually, thanks to Feeley's influence, Manute began his NBA career and brought home trophies for the team.

The tallest and shortest players in the league were paired on the court for one season in 1987 when the bullets selected Muggsy Bogues, who stands at 5 ft 3 (1.60 m), and Bol. He played for the Washington Bullets, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, Rhode Island Gulls, Golden State Warriors twice, and was once traded to the Denver Nuggets. The Golden State Warriors gave Bol a Manute Bol bobblehead on January 27, 2015. His son Bol Bol is a budding basketball player right now.
