1. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan

Situated in the Alwar district, the deserted town of Bhangarh is widely regarded as one of India's most haunted locations. It is an unsettling place beyond description. The Archaeological Survey of India has made it illegal for anyone to enter the Bhangarh Fort after dark because it is deemed to be so dangerous.

According to legend, Ratnavati, the stunning princess of Bhangarh, and a tantric named Singhia fell in love in the sixteenth century. and chose to use his magic to entice her despite knowing it was an impossible match. But the princess found out about his schemes and executed him. Enraged by the turn of events, he cursed the town to eternal misery and the palace to doom before he passed away. You should visit the fort at your own risk because the locals around here think that anyone who enters after dark won't return.

2. Kuldhara, Rajasthan

This town, which is 20 km from Jaisalmer, is renowned for being among India's most haunted locations. There once lived a Paliwal Brahmin community in this prosperous village, but they left it over night. According to legend, the daughter of the village chief caught the attention of Jaisalmer State's prime minister. The chief, however, was against the match. He countered by threatening to tax them heavily. As a result, everyone in the village packed their bags and moved out. The village is still deserted. Only during the day are visitors permitted.

3. Dow Hill, Kurseong, West Bengal

It's said that numerous ghosts live at Kurseong, Darjeeling's Victoria Boy's High School and Dowhill Girl's Boarding School, and that their footsteps can be heard reverberating through the corridors. Numerous dead bodies have been discovered in the woods around the schools, and a number of visitors and locals have claimed to have seen a headless boy follow them before vanishing into the forest.

4. Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi

It is said that during the day, tourists visit Agrasen Ki Baoli, and at night, spirits do the same. There is a rumor that the area used to be covered in black water, tempting people to wade into a watery grave. The location was featured in the movie PK, where Aamir Khan's character was seated on the lengthy stone staircase. However, if ghosts exist here, could aliens follow soon after?

5. Dumas Beach, Gujarat

The black sands of Gujarat's Dumas Beach, which is located on the Arabian Sea coast, have long been linked to a number of mysteries. Many people who take midnight strolls on the beach and walk towards the sea feel as though the restless spirits are calling them to return to the shore. The beach was once a Hindu burial ground. The palace was built in the honor of Peshwa Bajirao I. It saw the heartbreaking incidents of love, betrayal and treachery. In 1773, Narayanrao, the fifth ruling Peshwa, was murdered on the command of his own uncle Raghunathrao and aunt Anandibai. Legends have it that his ghost can be heard screaming Kaka mala wachawa (uncle save me).

7. The Church Of Three Kings, Goa

The story behind this church is a classic example of why there is enough in the world for man’s need, but not his greed. Back in the day, three Portuguese kings always fought over the kingdom of Goa. Finally, one of them called the other two for a meeting at the now-famous The Church Of Three Kings and poisoned them. When the people discovered what the king had done, they came after him in a bloodthirsty horde. Unwilling to be lynched in public, he committed suicide by consuming poison. All the three were buried in the same church. This is a haunted place in India that is NOT avoided by visitors.

8. Mukesh Mills, Mumbai

In Mumbai's Colaba neighbourhood, Mukesh Mills was constructed in the 1870s and was operational until a strike forced its closure in 1982. A few months later, the mill caught fire, leaving it dilapidated. The location began to be utilized for film and commercial productions. The performers, however, declined to film there due to the unfavorable atmosphere and misplaced items.

9. Jatinga, Assam

Recurrent mass bird suicides are one of the world's most perplexing phenomena, and they occur in this small village of 2,500 residents. For centuries, only a particular area has seen a mass fall of migratory and local birds to the ground on moonless nights in September and October. It is quite unsettling to say the least, and has perplexed scientists who are unable to come up with any plausible explanation for birds falling dead from the sky in such a pattern.

10. Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad

The Ramoji Group founded the Ramoji Film City, which is located in Hyderabad, in 1996. Ramoji Film City is said to be haunted by the ghosts of the fallen soldiers because it was constructed on the Nizam sultans' battlefields.

Witnesses claimed to have witnessed a variety of paranormal events during multiple shootings in the movie city.
