Top 10 Most Beautiful Canadian Women 2023/24 - Updated |
Table of Contents |
When looking at credible lists of the top Canadian businesswomen (such as the CEO, founder, chairman of the board, and others), we can't help but wonder: Doesn't talent and intelligence seem to go hand in hand with attractiveness and strength?
There is more to beauty than just looks. The businesswomen featured in this article are beautiful not just in their outward appearance but also in their inner beauty, which comes from their talent, effort, sacrifice, empathy, and communal sharing. It combines the allure of gender with the beauty of the soul, the heart of the heart.
Overall: Canadian Women Entrepreneurs
One of the main reasons for the expansion of the Canadian economy has been the rise of female entrepreneurs. Although there has long been a strong female leadership tradition in Canada, women didn't start making significant progress in entrepreneurship until the 1990s. Over 800,000 Canadian women have started their own businesses and made economic contributions.
These business owners have found the greatest success in the following five industries: manufacturing, retail trade, health care and social assistance, finance and insurance services, and lodging and food services. Approximately thirty percent of jobs in Canada's private sector are held by women-owned businesses. Nearly half of those companies are based in Toronto and Montreal alone. About one-third of executives in the private sector are women, and more than half of college students enrolled in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs are female.
As of December 2023, approximately 3% of Canadian publicly traded companies have a female CEO. Regretfully, there is still room for improvement when it comes to the representation of women on company boards.
Seeing as how few female board members there are in Canadian businesses (3.5%), it is evident that many female executives have difficulty rising to the top of the corporate ladder. In order to reach our goals and meet gender diversity targets in corporate sectors, it is critical that we have frank conversations about where we are.
