Jaleena Cozzo, who gained a huge social media following by producing TikTok videos ranking college food while a student at the University of Alabama before graduating in 2022, enjoys seeing a range of ethnic selections at school dining halls. "I think that's really important because students from all over get to be comfortable and see familiar foods," says Cozzo, a TikTok user with over 164,000 followers and nearly 11 million views.
According to Robert Nelson, CEO of the National Association of College & University Food Services, a resource for campus dining experts, students may also emphasize having fresh options, clean settings, and a wide variety of dishes that cater to varied dietary needs and sensitivities.
