When will PS5 stock be available again in the UK?

PlayStation 5 fans are eagerly looking towards Very ahead of a rumoured restock of the console in the UK today. PS5 is back in stock in some parts of Europe, with UK restocks expected to follow, according to Express.

According to the latest reports online, PS5 consoles have gone on sale in Italy, although units sold out quickly.

Rumours of new stock of the PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, circulate and then when it does arrive it lasts for 30 minutes, with most of it being snagged by scalpers.

The prediction for when stock at GAME will be available again has changed multiple times in the last few days but the best guess now is between 9am and midday on Wednesday, February 10.

The same source earlier suggested that GAME, BT and EE would be offering pre-orders on Thursday, February 11, with actual stock arriving the week after, Metro report.

PS5 stock analysts have tipped there to be major restocks at retailers across the country this week, with Very one of those predicted to drop more stock.

GAME, meanwhile, is expected to open up orders from February 11, while Amazon could restock at any given time.

At least in terms of GAME, that schedule seems to have moved up but stores such as Amazon, Very, and Argos are still not expected to get new stock until February 15 at the earliest. None of these dates are guaranteed

Price of PS5 and How to Buy

The PlayStation 5 is now sold out on Amazon after being available in limited numbers from selected sellers last week.

The retailer has yet to announce when more units will arrive, but it's worth checking its website regularly for updates. Like most other retailers, GameStop has sold out of PS5s. It last made consoles available in January and another restock is long overdue. Inventory checkers such as PopFindr and BrickSeek allow shoppers to see which Walmart, Target, Best Buy and GameStop stores have PS5s in stock.

Although it does vary greatly, the average price of a PlayStation 5 on eBay has dropped from £755 to £680, suggesting that as more and more people are able to get hold of one the resell value of the console has begun to drop.

The PS5 is sold out at Antonline. However, the retailer has previously said on its Twitter account that it will make a limited number of next-gen consoles available every week.

GAME tells customers: "Please Note Select our new Priority Insured delivery method at checkout to receive £50 in compensation if your order is lost in transit."

Gamers wanting to keep track of restocks should follow Twitter accounts such as @Wario64 and @GYXdeals, which often have updates on availability.

What is PlayStation 5?

After four months since its launch, the PlayStation 5 remains frustratingly elusive for gamers. Sony's next-gen consoles flew off the shelves when they went on sale on November 12 and each restock has met a similar fate.

Sony admitted last week that production was unlikely to increase in the immediate future because of a shortage of components.

Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki recently said that the manufacturing of PS5 consoles has taken a hit in the last few months. This is due to a lack of semiconductors and other components.

"It is difficult for us to increase production of the PS5 amid the shortage of semiconductors and other components," Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki explained.
