We are ready for all Netflix announcements in August.
The Kissing Booth 3
Coming to Netflix: August 11th
Among the many YA rom-com franchises, The Kissing Booth is one of the most successful on Netflix and is set up the wrap up the trilogy, according to Whats-On-Netflix.
The third movie was filmed secretly alongside the second movie which released in June last year.
Here’s what you can expect from the final entry:
“It’s the summer before Elle Evans is set to head off to college, and she has a big decision to make.”
Sweet Girl
Coming to Netflix: August 20th
Netflix releases the first look image for their upcoming film Sweet Girl, which stars Jason Momoa as a grieving husband protecting his daughter.
Momoa stars as Cooper, a devastated husband still reeling from the death of his wife. He vows to bring justice to the people responsible while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter (Isabela Merced). Sweet Girl also features the likes of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Justin Bartha, Michael Raymond-James, Raza Jaffrey, and Amy Brenneman. It's one of the many Netflix original movies debuting this summer, and the streamer has officially released its first look at the project, according to ScreenRant.
Beckett
Coming to Netflix: August 27th
Tenet star John David Washington will be on the run in new Netflix thriller movie Beckett, with the first image from the film suggesting that his character won't get through the movie's events without an injury or two.
The official NetflixFilm Twitter account has shared a first-look image of Washington in the movie, which shows him in what looks like a train station while looking over his shoulder with concern.
Netflix describes Beckett's plot as being about "a man ensnared in a violent conspiracy while vacationing in Greece", which has us suitably intrigued about how events will unfold, according to DigitalSpy.
He’s All That
Coming to Netflix: August 27th
It’s been a while since Netflix remade or rebooted a classic franchise but it’ll be doing so again with He’s All That in August with a reimagining of Miramax’s 1999 film, She’s All That.
Despite some of the original cast returning, this is a separate movie entirely following an influencer who accepts a challenge trying to turn the school’s biggest loser into prom king.
Hit & Run (Season 1)

From the producers of Netflix’s Fauda and The Killing comes this new thriller series that very much looks like it’s born out of the DNA of the prior mentioned series. A man's life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident, according to IMDB.
