Archive 81
Photo: IMDb |
Archive 81 follows archivist Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie), who takes a job restoring a collection of damaged videotapes from 1994. Reconstructing the work of a documentary filmmaker named Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi), he is drawn into her investigation of a dangerous cult at the Visser apartment building. As the season unfolds across these two timelines, Dan slowly finds himself obsessed with uncovering what happened to Melody. When the two characters form a mysterious connection, Dan becomes convinced he can save her from the terrifying end she met 25 years ago.
An original story loosely inspired by the popular podcast of the same name, Archive 81 is a supernatural horror series executive produced by showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys, The Vampire Diaries), James Wan, and Michael Clear of Atomic Monster (The Conjuring, Malignant), Rebecca Thomas (Stranger Things, Limetown), Antoine Douaihy (Panic, The Good Cop) and Paul Harris Boardman (Deliver Us from Evil).
In From the Cold

During a European vacation with her daughter, an American single mom’s life is turned upside down when the CIA forces her to confront her long-buried past as a Russian spy who was also the product of a highly classified KGB experiment granting her special abilities. After a mysterious string of manic and murderous incidents suggests someone with her exact abilities is targeting innocent people, Jenny (Margarita Levieva) is forced out of hiding to stop this villain or risk losing the family and new life she has built.
Raising Dion (Season 2) - February 1
Photo: Gizmo Story |
Raising Dion is one of Netflix's many bingeable sci-fi offerings. Based on the comic book and short film of the same name by Dennis Liu, the series follows single mom Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) and son Dion (Ja'Siah Young) as they deal with the loss of Dion's father, Mark (Michael B. Jordan).
An already complicated situation becomes impossible when Dion begins to manifest supernatural powers, from the Matilda-esque ability to levitate his cereal to the capacity to teleport out of risky situations. Like any good "strange powers appearing out of nowhere" drama (see: NBC's Heroes or even Netflix's Stranger Things), Nicole must protect Dion from risky situations, like strange enemies or agencies looking for the chance to research his abilities.
Vikings: Valhalla - Feb. 25
Photo: Melty |
Vikings: Valhalla is set over a hundred years after the end of the original series, and will tell the stories of three of the era's most famous (as well as infamous) Vikings: the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his sister and Old Norse religious leader Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).
Stranger Things (Season 4)
There’s a lot of questions season 4 has to answer: What happened to Hopper? With Will and Eleven away from the monster epicenter of Hawkins, where will we see future creatures? Now that Nancy and Jonathan have been fired from the Hawkins Post, what’s next? Will Steve become some kind of movie aficionado? And will Robin ever get to tell Tammy Thompson about her love?
Alice in Borderland, season 2
Photo: VnExpress |
At the end of the first season, Arisu had just survived a number of deadly games, but he'd also lost his friends Chota and Korube along the way. That brought him to the final Ten of Hearts game where everyone had to identify the "Witch" who hid among them. After a truly horrific massacre, Arisu figured out that Momoka was the Witch, which led to another discovery – that she and Asahi were actually sabotaging the game on purpose.
This eventually leads Arisu and Usagi to the control room where they encounter a stranger named Mira who announces a whole new set of games taking place in Tokyo City. That means Arisu's time in the game is far from over, and this new controller could be even more dangerous than those that came before her.
All of Us Are Dead
Photo: Netflix |
One can pretty much read the available webtoon for knowing how the storyline will unfold in the drama. The webtoon follows the zombie contagion in a high school with a group of students trapped inside the school. The drama will clearly follow the life and death situation for them, with the formulation of escape plans and successful execution. People outside the school will also go to great lengths for saving them as the contagion gradually spread. However, it is unclear as to whether Netflix will exactly follow the webtoon or take a deviation from it and create its own original material. There is high anticipation from fans for the upcoming drama with Netflix denoting the series as the Korean zombie genre’s exciting new chapter.
Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas
Before Las Vegas fell completely to the undead, Scott Ward and his rescue team of mercenaries were sent into the hordes of the Sunset Strip as they attempt to rescue the civilians struggling to survive.
The Cuphead Show
Photo: IMDb |
The character-driven comedy follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman. Through their many misadventures across their surreal home of the Inkwell Isles, they’ve always got one another’s backs. The new series will expand on the characters and world of Cuphead, with an animation style inspired by the classic Fleischer cartoons from the 1930s.
For King Features, CJ Kettler will serve as the Executive Producer and creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will serve as Executive Producers for Studio MDHR. The series will be produced by Netflix Animation and is executive produced by Emmy and Annie Award-winning producer, Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts) and Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling) serves as co-executive producer.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

The animated series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk. CD PROJEKT RED, the company behind the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, is producing the series, with a creative team formed of talent from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Cyberpunk 2077.
First Kill

When it’s time for teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope (Imani Lewis). But much to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won’t be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for.
Felicia D. Henderson (The Punisher, Empire, Gossip Girl, Soul Food) is the writer, showrunner, and executive producer for First Kill, which is based on the short story by New York Times best-selling author Victoria “V. E.” Schwab, who is also a writer and executive producer for the series. Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss serve as executive producers through Belletrist Productions.
Locke and Key, season 3

The Locke family uncovers more magic within Keyhouse, while a new threat — the most dangerous one yet — looms in Matheson with plans of his own for the keys. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), Locke & Key is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family. Locke and Key on Netflix is the television adaptation of the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for IDW Entertainment.
Magic: The Gathering
Coming soon in 2022 is Magic: The Gathering, an all-new animated event series from Entertainment One (eOne) Hasbro’s global entertainment studio. Magic: The Gathering’s compelling characters, fantastic worlds, and deep strategic gameplay have entertained and delighted fans for more than 25 years. From our understanding, the story takes place over two timelines. The first of which involves 14-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker moving to New Raccoon City. They come to realize that their father may be concealing dark secrets that could destroy the world.
The second timeline takes place over a decade in the future, where only 15 million humans remain, with over 6 billion animals and people being infected with the T-virus. It follows Jade, now thirty, in her efforts to survive in this world.
The Sandman
