In a bizarre incident, a man got married for the 37th time in front of his whole family including 126 grandchildren, the video of the matrimony has now gone viral, DNA India reported.
We have heard tales about kings getting married to dozens of queens, however, the idea of so many marriages in the 21st century seems crazy. But not for this man who got married for the 37th time.
A video with the claim that an elderly man is tying the knot with his 37th wife in front of his 28 wives, 35 children and 126 grandchildren has gone viral on social media.
IPS Rupin Sharma shared this video and wrote, “BRAVEST MAN….. LIVING 37th marriage in front of 28 wives, 35 children and 126 grandchildren.”
People were shocked as well as amused to see this video. Some criticized this act, while others were left wondering if this is actually true that too in the 21st Century.
It is not known when this incident happened and the country from where this video was uploaded is also a mystery.
Odd as it is, some even wondered how the man was able to keep up with multiple wives and children. Some were critical but it appears it was all tied to the kind of life he was living.
This comes not long after a man from Zimbabwe revealed that he had no plans of slowing down even with 16 wives already. Mischeck Nyandoro is planning to tie the knot and marry his 17th wife. He is already 66-years-old and already has 151 children with his existing wives.
The retired war veteran has no work and bares that his full-time job is making his wives happy. All of them cook, clean and cater to his needs. He is planning to take wife no. 17 in the winter and hopes to achieve his target of marrying 100 wives and produce 1,000 children before he dies.
“I go to the bedrooms that I have on my schedule. I then satisfy my wife and move onto the next room. This is my job. I have no other job. I alter my behaviour in the bedroom to suit the age of each of my wives. I don’t act the same with the young ones as I do with the older ones,” Nyandoro stated.

Earlier, a Taiwanese man married the same woman four times and divorced her thrice in a span of 37 days - all to get extended paid leave. The unnamed bank clerk in Taipei got married on April 6 last year and once his marriage leave was over, he divorced his wife and married her again the next day to ask for another paid leave, which he felt he was entitled to by the law.
He repeated this until he married four times and divorced three times. This way, he managed to apply leaves for four marriages for a total of 32 days. The bank figured out what he was trying to do and granted him paid leave only for 8 days for the first marriage. After he filed a complaint against his employer at the Taipei City Labour Bureau, the bank was fined NT$20,000 (Rs 52,800) in October 2020. In April this yea, the Beishi Labour Bureau reluctantly upheld the previous ruling. |
