People who are left-handed knows of only a few people who can write, throw, catch, and use a fork with their left hand. The way they see the world is also a little different. When they're out to eat, they look for a seat where their stronger elbow will be on the outside of the booth. People who play sports with their right hand groan a little when they see a southpaw on the roster. Right-handers often don't know how to handle them because they haven't done them enough. They still fight with each other all the time, though.
Take a friend who is left-handed to coffee or lunch. Do everything with your left hand if you're right-handed. People who are left-handed should post photos with the hashtag #lefthandersday to show how awesome they are.

Campbell, the founder of Lefthanders International, Inc., made the day official in 1976, and it has been celebrated every year since. In the 1600s, people thought that left-handed people were working with the devil. Even now, left-handed people still have difficult times getting things done.
The Left-Handers Club was started in 1990 with the goal of keeping its members up to date on new developments and acting as a link between left-handed people and manufacturers. People who need it can also get help from the club, and they are always researching left-handedness and new products that can make things easier for lefties to use. Members from all over the world have been joining the club since it started, and the number of members has been going up. For now, the club is respected and looked up to as a pressure group for all left-handed players.
Campbell started the tradition of International Lefthanders Day, and on August 13, 1992, the Left-Handers Club made it a part of their group. The goal was to make people more aware of the pros and cons of being left-handed. The holiday is now observed all over the world.
