You can tune in and watch coverage of Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.

If you've got Sky Glass or Sky Q then a Sky Sports membership will usually cost £32 a month. But Sky is currently running a deal that drops that price to £20 a month. This can be paired with the standard Sky TV bundle, which unlocks access to exclusive channels like Sky Atlantic, as well as Comedy Central, MTV, and more, coupled with a Netflix subscription.

If you're not home, everything from Sky Sports is also beamed to tablets and smartphones via the Sky Go app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. You can also sign in to Sky Go on an Xbox or PlayStation to watch in another room if someone else is using the Sky Q box.

Sky-owned NOW, formerly NOW TV, offers limited-time access to Sky Sports. One month costs £33.99 while a single 24-hour period of Sky Sports will usually cost £11.98 but this is now reduced to £5.99.

NOW is also available on a NOW TV Box, Chromecast, PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Roku, LG Smart TV, PC or Mac, and selected mobile and tablet devices.

*Sky Sports

You probably already know, but Sky Sports is the main place to watch the Premier League in the UK.

Sky has its own dedicated channel for the league and you'll find some games on the likes of Main Event and Showcase, too. Throughout the season, the broadcaster is showing a total of 128 live games.

Packages start at £46 per month for 18 months, or from £25 extra per month if you already have a Sky TV subscription. This will also provide access while out and about via Sky Go.

However, if you sign up to Sky Q with a Sky Sports package, you can also watch in HDR quality.

*Now

If you don't want to commit to a Sky contract and satellite dish on your house, that's not a problem. Sky has its Now streaming service as an alternative option.

Now is available on a wide range of devices including smartphones and games consoles and now offers HD quality if you buy the Now Boost option.

A Day Pass provides 24 hours of access and costs £11.98 - this is great for one-off occasions. However, it's going to make much more sense to get the Month Pass if you plan to watch every weekend. It's currently available at £20 per month for three months, before returning to the usual £33.99 per month thereafter.

This offer also includes a month of free Now Boost, which adds 1080p 50fps video, removes ads and lets you stream on three devices at the same time (instead of the usual). After that, it'll cost you an extra £5 per month.

You can also just use the BT Sport app (£16pm) - it works on mobile, tablet, smart TV and console - or buy the Monthly Pass for £25pm. If your device supports it, you'll still be able to watch in up to 4K HDR quality.Sky customers can get BT Sport added from £15pm (after a three-month £7.50pm promotion).

Sky customers can get BT Sport added for £21pm. BT also offers a combined package with Sky Sports via Now, which is £40pm for 24 months.

When they are, you can watch via a web browser or use the Prime Video app on a wide range of devices to tune in.

If you're already an Amazon Prime member then you have access to Prime Video included in your subscription. Otherwise, it's a choice between £7.99 a month or £79 per year - the latter works out a bit cheaper.

New customers can take advantage of a 30-day free trial, too. Sign up via the Amazon website, although you'll need a VPN to access with an account based outside the UK.

How to watch the match outside the UK and anywhere in the world

Photo: Getty Images
Photo: Getty Images

Before trying to watch UK TV from abroad, it's worth checking which broadcaster has the rights to the Premier League where you're based. For example, it's NBC in the US, Optus Sport in Australia and Canal+ in France.

However, if you're just visiting another country, accessing your UK-based subscription makes sense.

Until the end of 2020, it was pretty easy for British viewers to watch TV while outside the UK when travelling to another EEA member state. The providers had to allow customers to view content by law but Brexit means that's no longer the case.

Now you'll need to use a VPN (virtual private network) to set your location to the UK to unlock the content. The same applies to US viewers wanting to watch the Premier League beyond what is shown on American networks.

Surfshark VPN

Surfshark describes itself as the 'leading VPN for an honest price'. And right now it lives up to that name with a brilliant money-saving deal offers access to Surfshark from just £1.59 a month. This is for 24 months worth of VPN access, which offers a huge 82% saving on the regular price. You'll also get two months access entirely for free

NordVPN

NordVPN boasts that it's the best VPN for those wanting peace of mind when surfing the web. This service provides a secure and fully encrypted tunnel for all your web traffic and also are keeps browsing history private. For a limited time, those signing up can get 52% off the usual price with things starting from just £2.89 per month

Express VPN

ExpressVPN is one of the most popular VPNs on the market – and for good reason. This brilliant service offers a fast and secure way to mask your activity on the web, keeping your personal details hidden from view (even from your internet supplier!). There's also 24-hour customer support and a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not happy. Like all VPNs, you'll be able to change your location with the tap of a button to unlock shows on streaming services that aren't available in your country.

Liverpool vs Wolverhampton: Preview and Prediction

Liverpool will want to continue from where they left off last time out with the 1-2 Premier League triumph over Southampton.

In that game, Liverpool managed 71% possession and 24 attempts on goal with 5 of them on target. For Liverpool, the goalscorers were Takumi Minamino (27') and Joël Matip (67'). On the other side, Southampton had 4 shots at goal with 2 of them on target. Nathan Redmond (13') was the scorer for Southampton.

Over their last six games, Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool have netted a combined total of 9 times resulting in an average number of goals per match of 1.5.

Looking at their past form shows that Liverpool:

  • have not lost a league tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers in their previous 10 games. A long run without a loss.
  • haven't been defeated in their previous 22 league matches at home. So impressive.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

In the game prior to this, Wolves drew 1-1 in the Premier League match with Norwich City.

In that match, Wolverhampton Wanderers had 64% possession and 17 shots at goal with 4 on target. The only player on the scoresheet for Wolverhampton Wanderers was Rayan Aït Nouri (55'). Norwich City got 11 attempts at goal with 2 on target. Teemu Pukki (37') scored for Norwich City.

The strike force from Wolves have had real problems scoring goals in their past 6 encounters, netting the poor return of only 4. In those matches, Wolves have also seen the collective goal tally of opposing teams equal 13.

Leading up to this clash, Wolverhampton Wanderers:

  • have not beaten Liverpool when they have played them away from home in the previous 4 league matches. Not the best of away records.
  • are without a win away from home in their last 3 league games.
For this match, we think that Wolverhampton Wanderers have it in them to break down this Liverpool side, but that probably won’t quite be as many as they’ll concede.

We’re expecting a close game with a 2-1 victory for Liverpool after 90 minutes. Let’s just see how this one goes.

Liverpool vs Wolverhampton: Head to head

Checking on their past head to head meetings going back to 12/05/2019 shows that these encounters have been pretty painful for Wolves. They’ve not managed to get themselves any victories at all whereas Liverpool have been the better of the two, beating them in 100% of those match-ups.

An aggregate of 12 goals were shared by the two clubs in these games, with 11 of them for The Reds and 1 netted by Wolves. That’s an average goals per game of 2.

Liverpool injuries and team news

Liverpool’s injury crisis is slowly easing, with Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson and Thiago now the only confirmed absentees.

There are a host of doubtful players though, including Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Xherdan Shaqiri and James Milner.

Wolves injuries and team news

Raul Jimenez faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after his horror injury last weekend, joining Jonny on the injury list, while Romain Saiss is a doubt.

Daniel Podence is likely to operate through the centre in the absence of a recognised striker, with Pedro Neto and Adam Traore on the flanks.

Liverpool target Premier League top spot

Liverpool were denied three points in a controversial 1-1 draw at the Amex Stadium last weekend but, while they have struggled at times this season, the reigning champions remain in the running and sit level on points with leaders Tottenham heading into December.

That draw against Brighton made it six league games unbeaten since their shock 7-2 defeat at Aston Villa, and they’re expected to extend that run on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have won all five of their Premier League home games this season and their home record in the top flight is legendary. That being said, the defensive side of their game has dropped off this season and they have conceded in four of these five home games.

Wolves pose attacking threat even without injured Jimenez

This will come as a good news to Wolves, who still managed to beat Arsenal 2-1 last weekend despite losing star striker Raul Jimenez to an horrific head injury. The Mexican forward is out for the foreseeable future with a fractured skull, but with Wolves scoring in six of their last seven games they should still be able to trouble the Liverpool defence.

Keeping them out at the other end is another prospect entirely though, so backing both teams to score looks the way to go on Sunday.

In the end we’re expecting Liverpool’s incredible home record to continue here and all three points are on the table. Wolves have lost each of their last three meetings with Liverpool, and with two of the hosts’ last three home games ending 2-1 we’re backing that for our correct score prediction.

Jota to come back to haunt former club

One of the interesting underlying stories at Anfield involves Diogo Jota. The former Wolves man has made a blistering start to life at Liverpool, scoring nine goals in 15 competitive appearances and firmly cementing his place in the starting lineup.

Jota’s departure from Wolves also leaves them lacking an established centre forward after Jimenez’s injury, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him popping up with a goal on Sunday.
