Acorn TV in September 2024: Highlights
Under the Vines, Season 3 (Acorn TV Original Series) – New Episodes Premiere Every Monday Until the Season Finale on September 16
Acorn TV in September 2024 - Under the Vines, Season 3 |
This New Zealand-based series began when two step-cousins took over a vineyard that was having trouble. Daisy was a famous person in Australia, and Louis was a lawyer in the UK. Even though they had never made wine before and didn't really agree on anything, they decided to work together in the hopes of getting more than just lowball offers on the property.
Daisy (Rebecca Gibney, The Dressmaker) and Louis (Charles Edwards, The Crown) are trying to legally get rid of the annoying William (Mark Mitchinson, Evil Dead Rise), who says he owns half the vineyard. This is what season 3 is all about.
Candice Renoir Season 10 (Acorn TV Exclusive Series) – New Season Binge on Monday, September 16

Candice Renoir, Season 10 (French)
This French crime show is back for its 10th (and almost final) season. The show began in 2013 when Candice moved to France with her ex-husband and kids after living abroad for years. She had to fight to be taken seriously, even though she was clearly good at her job, because she was newly divorced and returning to work after a long break. We're not going to say much about season 10 because the personal lives of Candice and her team are just as important to the show as the crimes, and we don't want to ruin it for people who are just starting.
If you're wondering what will happen with the show in the future, they're not making regular seasons anymore. But they are still putting out one-off feature-length specials, which we hope will eventually make their way to Acorn TV.
The Lovers (2023)
This modern love story set in Belfast stars Roisin Gallagher (The Fall) and Johnny Flynn (Emma). The story is about two people who meet even though they don't seem to be a good match. Karen (Gallagher) works in a supermarket and has a bad temper. Seamus (Flynn) is a political broadcaster in London and has a beautiful girlfriend there. Even though their first meeting is a mess, they seem to be drawn to each other.
September 23, Premieres

In this exciting two-part thriller, the lives of three children are in danger because of a strange couple who visit the family while they are on vacation in France. Fay Ripley (Cold Feet), Ben Miles (The Crown), and Daniel Ryan (Mount Pleasant) are in the cast.
How to Murder Your Wife
This dark comedy is based on the true story of Alfred Benning, who was a nice animal welfare inspector who turned into a famous killer when he was 65 years old. The unlikely killer decided that life is too short to be with a woman they didn't like, so he or she decided to hack her to pieces. The movie was first shown on Acorn TV in October 2020.
The Bench (2001 to 2002)
