Festivals in the US: Useful Tips
Each festival has its own set of guidelines, but we'll go over some general guidelines that we apply to all group events.
-Layer your clothing. Temperatures fluctuate during festivals, which typically last all day (if not longer). Layers allow you to easily adjust to stay comfortable.
-Maintain your charge. Don't let your phone go dead. We like this charger because it allows us to charge both of our phones at the same time.
-Prepare for any type of weather. We've attended several festivals where it rained. If there is a chance of rain, bring a raincoat. This jacket is excellent for both warmth and rain.
-Check the Rules in Advance. There will be restrictions on what you can bring into each festival. Don't be caught bringing something that isn't permitted.
-Purchase your tickets as soon as possible. The festivals we've listed here are extremely popular and will sell out quickly, often on the first day of sales. Sign up for newsletters to be notified when tickets become available.
-Arrive on time. No matter how well-organized a festival is, finding parking with all the crowds takes time.
-Please return. Be sure to check their websites for the most up-to-date information multiple times in case anything about the festival changes.
