TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR Full Fixtures, Biggest Matches in Premier League 2024 - 2025
Overview of Tottenham Hotspur 2024/25 Premier League
Tottenham will begin the new season with a Monday night trip to newly-promoted Leicester.
Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge started in remarkable fashion, with nine wins and two draws from their opening 11 games before suspensions and injuries hit. Come the end of the season, Spurs missed out on a return to the Champions League but showed clear signs of progress under the new boss.
Tottenham’s first real test comes early on with a trip to Newcastle at the end of August followed by the visit of Arsenal in a north London derby after the first international break. The return north London derby is set for a midweek in January.
The traditional festive period will see Tottenham meet Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Boxing Day, with the season concluding at home to Brighton. Spurs’ run-in looks a tough one as it features away games at Liverpool, West Ham and Aston Villa.

Tottenham has gone more than a decade without any titles, from the domestic to the continental arena. In the Bix Six group alongside Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, and two Manchester teams is Tottenham. For the first time ever, Tottenham advanced to the C1/Champions League Cup final the previous season. Even though Spurs lost against rival team Liverpool, their triumph is seen as a positive step toward the club's progress. However, the complete opposite occurred. Tottenham's coach, Mauro Pochettino, was forced to resign abruptly after the team performed poorly. Jose Mourinho, who took his place, was unable to salvage their performance. Even though Tottenham has won over 20 major and minor championships, they haven't placed first on the podium since the 2007–08 campaign, which was more than ten years ago. Spurs defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the League Cup final that season to win the trophy. |
