Top 30 Best Hospitals In The World Ranked By Newsweek and Statista |
As of March 2019, Newsweek has teamed up with Statista to compile an annual ranking of the top hospitals in the world. Information about 2,400 hospitals in 30 different nations is included in this year's list. To the list, which already includes the United States, the majority of Western Europe and Scandinavia, ten Asian nations, Australia, and other countries in the Americas, we now add Chile and Malaysia.
You can sort the data by country, but it also includes the top 250 hospitals in the globe. We've highlighted the top 30 of them, highlighting their fascinating use of AI to promote medical breakthroughs.
More than 85,000 medical professionals participated in an online poll to determine each hospital's score, and publicly available data from patient satisfaction questionnaires administered after hospitalization also played a role. A Statista survey asking if hospitals employ Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)—standardized questionnaires filled out by patients to evaluate their experience and outcomes—and data on topics like hygiene and patient/doctor ratio are also factored into the score.
