Petrol prices fall over the next few days
Filling up an average tank for a family has now hit an extortionate £105 - on top of the cost of living crisis - which continues to rise along with inflation.
The average price of a litre of petrol is now 190.65p and for diesel it's 198.42p.
Drivers should see petrol prices fall over the next few days. and they probably should have started falling already, according to the AA.
Motoring services companies accused retailers of acting too slowly and not going far enough with price cuts, amid decreases in their wholesale costs as a new record price of 191.5p was set on Sunday.
The 5p per litre reduction in fuel duty in March failed to stop prices at the pumps from rising, but the AA have said that prices should fallen by 4p a litre soon, according to Birmingham Live.
Luke Bosdet, the AA’s fuel price spokesman, told: Even commentators in the fuel trade say that their pump prices should be falling 4p in the next few days.

The Shell filling station at Trago Mills, in Newton Abbot, has been selling unleaded petrol for 169.9p a litre compared to the national average of 190.65p, as calculated by the RAC.
Drivers waited from 6am to use the bargain pumps at a department store in Newton Abbot, Devon. Outlet Trago Mills deployed security guards to marshall snaking queues at the filling station, as motorists waited over an hour.
It means people in the small town are able to fill up for under £100 – which is a bit of a dream as it is a difficult task at the moment.
