The size of a man's hands has left netizens shocked. Jeff Dabe, from the US state of Minnesota, is making people concerned about the size of his hands.

Jeff's forearm measures 20 inches in circumference and it comes in handy for his hobby: arm wrestling.

He adopted the nickname ‘Popeye’ in high school after one of his high school coaches took him to a local charity event to compete in his first arm wrestling title. "I beat all the kids and then all the adults, and I kind of got hooked on it… Talked me into going to all the tournaments," he explained to Fox News.

After an injury in his right elbow, Jeff was forced to give up arm wrestling. He picked up the sport again about 10 years ago but now uses his left arm.

Dabe added, “I can do everything just fine like everyone else. There's no way I can work on cars. I used to work on cars on the side. I liked to do it, it was relaxing to me. "Other than that I haven't found much I can't do… The one thing I can't do is find good gloves."

Do you know...?

1, He can hold a basketball in each of his hands, while his wedding ring is almost five inches round. Jeff's ring finger on his left hand is the same size as a small bracelet. When we got married, instead of a ring, he wanted a ring tattoo in the shape of a ball and chain. He thinks he's funny! His Mom had a fit, so he didn't do it. "Ink masters" is in the Twin Cities January 10th, he's disappointed he can't go see if he could get one.

2, The University of Minnesota had conducted Jeff Dabe’s tests of gigantism and elephantiasis but couldn’t find any abnormalities.

3, Jeff only pulls left handed. He pulled so much in the 80's, that he blew his right elbow out.

4, He's a workaholic. He's never called in sick for work. It takes an army of people, 2 attack Bengal cats and a rabid dog to hold down the fort while he's gone.

2. Tallest Man On Earth

The Guinness World Records named Sultan Kosen the tallest person in the world. He is the first-ever man who stands over 8 feet tall out of the ten confirmed and reliable cases in the history of human existence. Sultan is a part-time farmer from Turkey. When he took the iconic title of the Tallest living man, he measured 8 feet 1 inch.

The Advantage and Disadvantages of being The Tallest Man in the World

In an interview, Sultan funnily described that being tall has its advantages. He can help his mother out with daily jobs and chores such as hanging curtains, changing a broken bulb, and others. However, the condition comes with many disadvantages too. It becomes challenging to find the right size of shoes and clothes or even to drive a car, for that matter.

More Records in His Name

Apart from being the tallest man in the whole wide world, Sultan Koser has other records in his name. He holds the title of living person with the largest hands. Each of his hands measures 28.5 centimeters from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.

Where is Sultan Now?

On a personal front, Sultan is married to Merve Dibo. His wife is nine years younger than him and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. They met through a mutual friend.

Ever since he has become the record-holder of the Guinness World Records, Sultan has accomplished many of his dreams. He received life-saving medical treatment to stop himself from growing further. He also swapped his farming for Hollywood and bagged a role in the movie, Achieving the Impossible in 2016.

Key Facts:

1, Sultan is married to the love of his life Merve Dibo, a Syrian woman who is 10 years younger than him. Also a Muslim like the tallest man, Merve was born and raised in Syria and was there until she finally met Sultan.

2, It is important to point out that the height of Sultan Kösen is not a result of nature. He was birthed with a condition called Gigantism and Acromegaly which is caused by a tumor that affects his pituitary glands. This caused his unusual rapid growth, and poor posture, forcing him to walk with the support of crutches.

3, Sultan Kösen stopped growing in 2012

Although a man is designed to stop growing tall by the age of 18 to 20, Sultan continued growing until the age of 30 after doctors halted his growth in 2012.

He underwent surgery in 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical school where he received Gamma Knife treatment and was also provided with medications to help control the growth of his body. Fortunately, the procedure was successful and it is safe to say that as of 2012 Sultan’s growth was medically stopped.

4, Sultan Kösen has another record to his name

Sultan is not only in the Guinness books of record for being the tallest man in the world, his hands and feet are also in the records for the largest with his hands measuring at almost 9inches and his feet at 14 inches long.

Who is shortest man on earth?

Speaking of the world’s tallest man, we have to talk about the shortest. Chandra Bahadur Dangi was a Nepalese man that measure at only one foot, ten inches tall. Unfortunately, he died age 75 in 2015.

3. Man born without legs

Top 11 Weirdest People In The World Today

Born without legs in 1997 in Ohio, Zion Clark was given up for adoption at birth and lived in 7 or 8 foster homes before he found a guardian angel who wanted to be his mom. He took up wrestling because he didn’t want to feel weak. Now a formidable wrestler, he also holds the Guinness World Record for walking on his hands, clocking a time of 4.78 seconds for 20 meters.

This determined 25-year-old was born with a rare disorder, caudal regression syndrome, that impairs the development of the lower spine. In Zion’s case, he was born missing both of his legs. One in every 100,000 children are born with the congenital condition each year. At the age of 17 he was adopted by Kimberlli Clark Hawkins, a woman who was already fostering other children as well. Zion has finally found a support system in his mom and coach, Gilbert Donahue. And clearly, this is a feel-good story not only about Zion’s triumph over adversity, but about the selflessness of good people like them.

Zion is passionate about sharing his story and inspiring others to believe that there are no obstacles in life. “I don’t think there’s ever been time where I’ve helped somebody and I felt horrible doing it, you know what I mean. I feel great every time I get to help somebody that needs help,” he said. A documentary about Zion was released on Netflix on August 10, 2018.

Key Facts:

1, In 2021, the Los Angeles-based athlete was crowned the “fastest man on two hands” by the Guinness Book of World Records, which he has plans to trump.

He’s reached speeds of 30 miles per hour on only his hands but say he’s only picked up speed — and strength — in the last year. He claims he’s “physically faster” and wants to “rebreak” his record.

2, His Nickname is “No Excuses.”

Born without legs, one would expect that Clark takes his anger out on people who have legs and perhaps sulk about his predicament. Not Zion! In fact, he did the opposite and decided to make the best of life for himself. With that determination and zeal to become someone to reckon with, Zion tattooed “No Excuses” on his body. This is to serve as a constant reminder that despite his disability, he still has enough in him to make it big in life. Today, fans around the world have resorted to calling him “no excuses.” And to be fair, Zion Clark has relegated excuses and his success today is because of his hard work and sheer desire to make something out of life.

3, Clark Suffers From a Rare Condition

There are only a few people who suffer from the medical condition of Zion Clark. The American suffers from a condition known as caudal regression syndrome. This condition made him birthed without legs.

Nick Vujicic is another example of an outstanding man born without limbs.

Nick Vujicic is a motivational speaker that was born with tetra-amelia syndrome. This means that he born with no arms and no legs. All he had in regard to limbs was a pseudo-leg he referred to as his “chicken drumstick”. However, his unwillingness to let that put him down is what led to his current profession. His chicken drumstick even seems to actually have a faster reaction time in comparison to most people’s hands. Now he’s a husband and father of four.

4. Man with the Most Piercings On the Face

The tattoos and horns are interesting enough, but the number of piercings on Rolf Buchholz are just insane. It’s almost like he’s addicted to them. He actually does have more piercings than anyone on the planet as well.

How many piercings does he have?

Rolf's alterations include 453 piercings, tattoos and and subdermal implants. In 2010, he was also recognised by Guinness as the man with the most number of body piercings. He came to public attention after he was turned back from the Dubai airport in 2014, when he landed there on his way to a hotel appearance.

According to Guinness World Records, Rolf works in information technology for a telecoms company in Germany. It was only at the age of 40 that he started on the journey of body modifications by getting his first ever tattoo and piercing. In the more than 20 years since, he has been rendered almost unrecognisable with several piercings along his lips, eyebrows, nose and even two small horns on his forehead.

"The body modifications have changed only the outside," says Rolf. "It's changed not me. I'm the same person."

Key Facts:

At the age of 40 he got his first painting on his skin and it was not to make a start. According to him, he became addicted to body art and extreme piercing and began experimenting with many different things.

5. Conjoined twins

Since their birth on March 7, 1990, conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have been subject to plenty of media coverage. The pair, who are dicephalic parapagus twins (having two heads on one torso), first appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show in April 1996; later that same month and in September 1998, the two were featured in the now-defunct Life magazine.

Who are conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel?

Unlike other sets of conjoined twins who can be separated via surgery, Abby and Brittany's parents decided against the operation after learning that it was doubtful both girls would survive the procedure.

The sisters share many vital organs, including an enlarged liver, a bladder, a diaphragm, both reproductive and digestive systems, and intestines. Each twin controls one arm and one leg, which requires a great deal of cooperation to complete simple tasks such as walking, running, and driving a car.

During their teens, Abby and Brittany landed their own reality series on TLC — the network often produces content that puts unique individuals at the center, allowing them to discuss their lives and rare health issues. The twins' show ran for one season and detailed their time before, during, and after college graduation.

Where are conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel today?

The conjoined twins Abby and Brittany today are living a normal life, like all the other people. They do not let their special feature stop them from enjoying all the goods of life. For example, the girls have successfully passed driving exams, including the written test and the practical driving part. They took the tests twice, and it was one test per twin. Abby is in control of the right part of driver devices, while Brittany controls the left part. The twins are in charge of the steering wheel together. The girls were absolutely thrilled to receive their driving license. However, their mother was worried at first: she wondered what could happen if the twins were given a speeding ticket. In her words, she did not know whether they would both get a ticket or only Abby who is responsible for the accelerator. Still, their parents were proud of their daughters.

Key Facts:

1, Their Internal Organs Are A Unique Mix Of Shared And Individual

Interestingly enough, modern medicine is very aware of how Abby and Brittany's insides work, and we know what way they are joined.

Between them, the twins have: two spines merging at the pelvis, one broad ribcage, two hearts in a shared circulatory system, four lungs (two are fused), two stomachs, two gallbladders, one liver, one small and large intestine, three kidneys, one bladder, and one set of reproductive organs.

In other words, there are definitely two people inside that body, but they share some rather vital organs - which means they cannot be separated.

Now, you might be wondering, since they share a reproductive system, how do they engage in intercourse? Would they be able to have children? Though it hasn't happened yet (that they've told us), the girls have expressed a desire to start a family and get married, so this issue may be something they have to figure out someday.

2, They Originally Had Three Arms

Though it is very apparent now that Abby and Brittany have two arms, they had three when they were still infants. This third arm was only rudimentary and ultimately useless, however, so it was more of a hindrance than a help in that it made moving the shoulder blades difficult. For this reason, Abby and Brittany's parents had the extra arm removed when they were very little.

In general, Abby and Brittany's parents do not allow for non-vital medical examinations, procedures, or studies, but this, and one major surgery to correct growth in their ribcage, were both done as the girls grew. Nowadays, major surgeries seem to be a thing of the past for the pair.

3, One Can Get Sick Even If The Other Is Healthy

Because they share so much of their body and remain close to each other all the time, you might think the girls get sick at the same time. Strangely enough, that's not always the case. Certain medicine can bother one of them but not the other. If one girl gets a stomach bug, the other may not feel nauseated. In fact, Brittany commonly gets colds and has had pneumonia twice, while Abby has never had such an issue.

Interestingly enough, being sick is the only time the girls have ever complained about being joined. Once, when they were very young, Brittany got very sick. Abby was bored sitting around in bed all day, healthy as ever, and said she wanted to go her own way. Since that one incident, the girls have never expressed wanting to have separate bodies.

6. Hairiest man

Yu Zhenhuan, from China, is the hairiest man in the world. Ninety-six per cent of his body is covered in very thick black hair. The only place he doesn't have hair is on the palms of his hands and on the soles of his feet.

This excess of body hair has caused him a lot of trouble. It's difficult to see because his eye-lashes are so long. He also has hearing and breathing problems because of the hair that grows out of his ears and nose.

When Yu was a child the other kids were cruel, called him names and threw stones at him, but he became well-known when he made a film called 'The adventures of a hairy child'.Later he learnt how to play the guitar and the saxophone and now dreams of becoming a rock star.

What is hypertrichosis?

DermNet NZ describes hypertrichosis as excessive hair growth all over the body except on areas such as the lips and mucous membranes.

There are several types of hypertrichosis, and the condition can either be congenital or acquired, which means you can be born with it, like Larry and his siblings, or develop it later in life.

The condition affects men and women, but men generally grow more and thicker hair than women.

The Genetic and Rare Disease Information Centre states that the condition is X-linked, which means the disorder is predominantly associated with the X chromosome.

These X-linked dominant disorders may be more obvious in males because they only have one X chromosome, while being slightly impaired in females because they have two X chromosomes.

Information on the condition is limited and treatments available include laser hair removal, waxing and shaving. Dermatologists also offer a topical chemical option.

7. World’s Widest Hips

Mikel Ruffinelli is not your ordinary date. She is not just big and beautiful, but is the proud owner of the largest hips in the world.

Mikel was born a normal-sized young woman in USA before she ballooned after her first child. Her hips measure an unusual 8 feet (2.4 m) in circumference. However, her waist is only 3 feet 4 inches (102 cm).

Mikel Ruffinelli has the worlds biggest hips. The 39-year-olds waist measures just 40 inches but her 100 inch hips are as so wide she cant fit through doorways and has to buy two seats on planes and trains. Incredibly, the mum-of-fours unusual dimensions are completely natural.

Another woman with wide hips

A Pennsylvania woman is determined to have the world’s biggest hips — even if it ends up killing her, according to a report.

Bobbi-Jo Westley, 43, of York, already has hips that measure 95 inches, but she has her sights set on the current record of 99 inches, held by Mikel Ruffinelli of Los Angeles, Barcroft Media reported.

“My hips are what makes me unique,” she told the news outlet. “It’s what makes me ‘me.'”

Her supersize hips have earned her instant online fame with worldwide fans buying and trading her pictures.

She has even arranged “crushing sessions” for her biggest fans, who pay to have the curvaceous woman sit on them and squash them.

“When I realized that there were men out there who like my shape, I was kind of surprised,” she told the site. “I get all kinds of presents and messages from my fans, some of them ask ‘will you marry me?,’ which is kind of hard because I’m already married.”

8. Mr Eat It All

Michel Lotito, a French artist, decided early on that a "normal" diet was not enough. Born in Grenoble, France, Lotito became famous for deliberately consuming indigestible objects. He came to be known as Monsieur Mangetout ("Mr. Eat-All") and munched on snacks that would send regular people straight to the hospital.

"Over the course of Monsieur Mangetout’s career, his diet included 18 bicycles, seven TV sets, two beds, 15 supermarket trolleys, a computer, a coffin (handles and all), a pair of skis and six chandeliers. That’s pretty dang impressive by anybody’s standards, but the pinnacle of his entertainment career was the time he ate a whole dang airplane.

That’s right. In 1978, he ate an entire Cessna 150 airplane. That is to say, he began eating it in 1978, because it was a laborious piece-by-piece process that took two years. Finally, in 1980, he emerged from the epic battle of man versus flying machine victorious." - Read more at Ripley's Believe It Or Not.

During his lifetime, Michel Lotito (France) (b. 15 June 1950) of Grenoble, France, known as Monsieur Mangetout, ate metal and glass throughout his lifetime, beginning in 1959. Gastroenterologists X-rayed his stomach and described his ability to consume 900 g (2 lb) of metal per day as unique.

Key Facts:

1, Michel Lotito began eating unusual material as a teenager, at around 16 years of age, and he performed publicly beginning in 1966. He had an eating disorder known as pica, which is a psychological disorder characterized by an appetite for substances that are largely non-nutritive. Doctors determined that Lotito also had a thick lining in his stomach and intestines which allowed his consumption of sharp metal without suffering injury. Lotito also had digestive juices that were unusually powerful, meaning that he could digest the unusual materials. However, it also meant that soft foods, such as bananas and hard-boiled eggs, made him sick.

2, His diet since 1966 included 18 bicycles, 15 supermarket trolleys, seven TV sets, six chandeliers, two beds, a pair of skis, a low-calorie Cessna light aircraft and a computer. He is said to have provided the only example in history of a coffin (handles and all) ending up inside a man.

3, He first became aware of his ability when a glass from which he was drinking, broke and he began chewing the fragments. By October 1997, he had eaten nearly 9 tons of metal. He said that bananas and hard-boiled eggs made him sick.

10. The Human Barbie

Photo All That's Interesting

Valeria Lukyanova became an internet sensation when she started posting images of herself on social media. The Ukrainian model described herself as a “Human Barbie”. She claims to be 100% natural, aside from breast implants.

“Wow, what a doll!” Wait a second, is she a doll or is she human? This Ukrainian model became an instant internet sensation when she began posting photos of herself as the self-described “Human Barbie.” She claims to be 100 percent natural, except for her breast implants. It must be pretty hard for her to find shirts that fit correctly!

Key Facts:

1. She doesn't eat food

This is actually a step up from the last news we heard about her diet. She had, the Daily Mail reported, made a decision to live exclusively on light and air. We're guessing that didn't work out as well as she planned, because now she's on a liquid only diet.

2. She's not trying to be Barbie

She doesn't even call herself Barbie. She calls herself "Amatue". She says it came to her in a dream. A lot of things come to her in dreams.

3. She dreams in other dimensions

And she gets her nails done in fractal patterns from them. Look, we don't believe her, but we also kinda desperately want to get our nails done in fractal patterns from the 21st dimension now.

4. She's horribly, horribly racist.

And feels that the standards of beauty have dropped because of "race mixing". We think unrealistic beauty standards have damaged the concept of beauty to the point where there's actually a woman who actually looks like Valeria Lukyanova actually, but who's counting.

5. She used to be a goth.

And her first act of rebellion was to dye her hair. She also wore a lot of black and got accused of being a witch a lot. So basically she was a perfectly normal teenager.

6. She was never really interested in being attractive to boys.

She loved to chase the ones who hit on her off by pretending to be a man, though. We're beginning to think we might have quite liked younger Valeria.

Whitney Weldon is one of around 800 people in the world with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). It’s an incredibly rare genetic disease where the muscles, tendons, and ligaments become ossified if the patient suffers even the most minor of injuries. This means that someone will become completely frozen in place. Her first flare up was at age nine, where her arm froze at a 120-degree angle. It was described as being excruciatingly painful, and every time she has a flare up, Weldon just had to accept there was a part of her body she could no longer use.

Key Facts:

Weldon is one of about 800 people in the world with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, or FOP. It’s a grim genetic disease in which the body’s machinery for healing goes awry, growing immovable bone where it doesn’t belong. Minor injuries can lead to debilitating inflammation that leaves limbs unusable.
