You may go to Cathedral Cove, where a naturally created archway warrants photographic attention, from the stunning Hahei Beach on the North Island. A one-hour walking path runs along the cliff top from the beach's northern end before descending to the Cove. Here, a massive arching tunnel connects two remote bays by cutting through a headland of white rocks.

7. Rikoriko Cave – Northland
