Dozmary Pool, though small, is perfectly formed, disproving the claim that all of England's most stunning lakes are located north of Watford Gap. Dozmary Pool, located on Bodmin Moor, is a hauntingly beautiful body of water that contrasts with the area's rugged landscape.
In addition to its natural beauty, the lake is intriguing because of its purported role in Arthurian legend. Some say the lake is the residence of the Lady of the Lake, the enchantress who bestowed upon Arthur the legendary sword Excalibur.
