Drama and serial dominate Taiwanese cinema. Actresses have come and gone over the years. Because of their beauty and prowess, they have helped the industry thrive. The Taiwanese film business, like the rest of the world, is dominated by men. However, several women have emerged to compete and stake their claim. The market is thirsty, and their youthful blood is plenty to quench it.

1. Ariel Lin
Ariel Lin is one of only two women to have won several Best Actress honors at Taiwan's renowned Golden Bell honors. 2. Feng-Jiao Lin
Joan Lin Feng-jiao, a former Taiwanese actor, is best known as the wife of Hong Kong martial artist Jackie Chan. Due to her family's financial situation, she had to drop out of school at the age of 12. The Story of a Small Town earned her a Golden Horse Award.
3. Rainy Yang
Rainie Yang made her start in a female band, but she really shot to fame when she landed a prominent role in "Meteor Garden" at the age of 16. Unlike other young celebrities, she remained enormously popular throughout the years, sustaining her lucrative singing career while also acting.

Joe Chen is a Taiwanese actress, singer, and model who was born on April 4, 1979. She is the co-leader of Taiwan's Seven Flowers, and her main interests are acting and writing, which she excels at. She is the heroine of "The Prince Who Turns into a Frog," Taiwan's second most-watched television series. In 2008, she returned to television in the new series "Fated to Love You," which smashed the ratings record set by "The Prince Who Turned into a Frog."
5. Janine Chang
On September 4, 1982, Janine Chang Chun-Ning was born. She is an actress from Taiwan. She earned a bachelor's degree in law from National Taipei University. Chang received his master's degree from National Central University's Institute of Industrial Economics in June 2010.

Ruby Lin, born on January 27, 1976, is a Taiwanese actress, TV and film producer, and singer. Three years after her debut acting appearance in a TV commercial, she shot to national prominence for her role as Lagerstroemia in the TV series "Han Zhu Ge Ge."

She is a Taiwanese singer and actor. She is best known for her role as Shan Cai in the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, an adaption of the Japanese manga Hana Yori Dango, and Mars, which she co-starred in with F4's Vic Chou.

Her work has been nominated for the Golden Horse Awards' Best Actress Award several times, and she won the Actress Award for "The Best Time" at the 42nd Golden Horse Awards. Her acting abilities are well-known.
