Located right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, Pavilion KL is one of the most popular shopping malls in KL. The mall was launched in 2007 and 11 years later, still maintains its popularity. Pavilion KL is touted as a high-end, luxurious mall, but they also have regular, reasonably-priced shops. Besides a variety of shops, Pavilion KL also has an excellent food court, as well as several coffee bars and restaurants.
If you venture into KL, be sure to check Pavilion KL out, as most visitors love to take pictures at its main entrance with the water fountain. Bonus: if you visit during festive seasons, Pavilion KL is always decked out impressively with decorations.

Most locals dub it a “tourist mall” as Suria KLCC has several international brands within its premises and carries Western sizes as well. However, Suria KLCC has much more to offer! 4. Mid Valley Megamall & The Gardens

One of the largest shopping malls in Southeast Asia, Mid Valley is hands-down one of Kuala Lumpur’s most popular retail complexes. Opened in 1999, there are more than 400 stores here catering to every need, from fashion and home goods to restaurants and a massive cinema. There is also a 48,300-square-foot convention centre in the building which plays host to some of the most popular exhibitions in the city. Be sure to check out the local hawker centre downstairs for a cheap, tasty pit-stop and a wonderful element of traditional Malaysia.
Linked to Mid Valley Megamall via a pedestrian bridge and underground walkway, The Gardens is the luxurious cousin to Mid Valley for high-spending customers and fashionistas. 5. Lot 10

Lot10 is perhaps the most centrally located mall in Kuala Lumpur, right along Jalan Bukit Bintang. It has quite a few nice shops and also a National Geographer Flagship Store. In the basement you can find Hutong, a wonderful food court with mainly Chinese hawkers. Lot10 lies conveniently between numerous other popular malls in Bukit Bintang. If you enter this area by Monorail then the station to embark is right next to Lot10.
6. Fahrenheit 88

Fahrenheit88 is a modern mall near opposite of Pavilion KL. It used to be known as KL Plaza, but the new owner wanted to rename the mall after a huge renovation. Fahrenheit88 has some very nice stores. At the top floor you find Signature IT, a huge IT department store. Fahrenheit88 became one of the places to be among locals because of the huge Uniqlo clothing shop that occupies a few floors.
7. 1 Utama (Biggest Shopping Mall in Malaysia)

Though pretty far away from Kuala Lumpur City Center, 1Utama is a not to be missed shopping mall. After the huge renovation it again it a wonderful place to shop for all kinds of products (and also one of the biggest). There is also a huge Foodrepublic food court, where you can try many local dishes. 1Utama is not really popular among tourists because of the distance from most of the tourist hotels; still it is very much worth a visit.
8. Sunway Pyramid (Popular Mall in Selangor)

Sunway Pyramid is a very popular mall in Selangor due to its strategic location and connecting buildings. It links to both Sunway and Monash universities, Sunway Hotel Resort & Spa, as well as Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. If you’re looking for entertainment besides shopping, Sunway Pyramid is the place to go, as they have a cinema, and arcade, an ice-skating rink, and an archery station among others.
