The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is once again at the top of U.S. News and World Report's annual list of the best hospitals in the country.
The Mayo Clinic is the only institution from Minnesota to make it into the national top 20, which is determined by a number of factors such as patient satisfaction, survival rates, nursing staff quality, and the success rate of patient discharge.
In addition to being at the top of the country, the Mayo Clinic ranks highly in a number of specialties, including GI surgery, OBGYN, diabetes, cardiology and heart surgery, and cancer care.
