Italy Serie A 2022/23 Full Fixtures Today: TV Channels, Key Dates and FAQs

At the opening of this season, defending champion AC Milan will host Udinese at home. Last season, the Rossoneri did not win this opponent in both matches and drew all three recent matches in a row.

Meanwhile, runner-up Inter Milan will host rookie Lecce in the opening round, while Juventus will host Sassuolo, AS Roma will play at Salernitana.

It was not until the third round that fans saw the first remarkable match when Juventus met Roma. In the next round, Lazio faced Inter at home.

The focus of the season must be the Milan derby between AC Milan and Inter in the 5th round on September 4 (the return leg on February 5). The Italian derby between Juventus and Inter takes place on November 6 (round 13) and the return leg on March 19.

As such, this year's tournament will start very early, on the weekend of August 13-14 and end later, with the final round scheduled for Sunday, June 4, 2023. Midway through, Serie A plays until the end of November 13 before making room for the World Cup that begins on November 21. Therefore, at least from August until the hiatus in November, clubs always play midweek, including Serie A matches interspersed with European cups.

A new feature of Serie A 2022/23 is that the play-off match is applied again to decide the Scudetto in case the two teams are equal on points without taking into account the head-to-head record or goal difference.
