Authorities are intensifying efforts to locate Oswaldo Nathanahel Perez-Sanchez, a 26-year-old suspect wanted for the murder of his girlfriend, Tabatha Tozzi, and a subsequent carjacking in Las Vegas. A combined reward of $33,500 has been announced for information leading to his capture, as law enforcement agencies stress the importance of public assistance in solving the case.
TRAGIC INCIDENT IN LAS VEGAS
The horrifying event took place on April 22, 2023, at a residence on Leger Drive in Las Vegas. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Perez-Sanchez fatally shot his girlfriend, Tabatha Tozzi, during a heated argument. After the shooting, he allegedly carjacked a witness at gunpoint and fled the scene. Tozzi, 26, was transported to University Medical Center but succumbed to her injuries two days later.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled Tozzi’s death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head. Perez-Sanchez now faces charges including open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, coercion constituting domestic violence, robbery, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle.

Tozzi’s death left her family and friends devastated. Her mother, Regina Lacerda, described her as a vibrant, compassionate individual who brought joy to everyone around her.
“She was bubbly, with a warm smile that could light up any room,” Lacerda wrote on a GoFundMe campaign launched after her daughter’s death. “Tabatha was my best friend, my entire world, and the head of our household.”
Tozzi supported her family financially, including her grandmother, who has dementia and resides in Brazil. The GoFundMe campaign, aimed at helping the family during their grieving process, has raised nearly $55,000 to date.
In addition to her warm personality, Tozzi’s legacy of kindness extended beyond her life—her organs were donated to 16 recipients, according to local reports.
SUSPECT PROFILE: ARMED AND DANGEROUS
Perez-Sanchez is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 190 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his neck, chest, and arms. Authorities believe he may have connections in Southern California and Mexico.
The U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI have amplified their efforts to apprehend Perez-Sanchez. Social media platforms have been leveraged to share his profile widely. A Facebook post from the U.S. Marshals warns that Perez-Sanchez is armed and dangerous, urging anyone with information to avoid approaching him.
The combined reward of $33,500 includes $3,500 from the U.S. Marshals and $30,000 from the FBI.
ONGOING INVESTIGATION AND PUBLIC APPEAL
Law enforcement agencies, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, are urging the public to come forward with any information about Perez-Sanchez’s whereabouts. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling the U.S. Marshals hotline at 1-877-WANTED2 (1-877-926-8332) or through the USMS Tips App.
“Capturing this individual is not only a step toward justice for Tabatha but also a critical measure to ensure community safety,” the U.S. Marshals said in a recent statement.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND CALL FOR JUSTICE
A year after Tozzi’s death, her family and friends gathered to honor her memory and renew their call for justice. Regina Lacerda has remained vocal about the need to hold Perez-Sanchez accountable for her daughter’s murder.
“This is a mother’s worst nightmare,” Lacerda said. “No family should have to endure this pain.”
The case has brought renewed attention to the broader issue of domestic violence and its devastating impact. Advocacy groups in Nevada have used this tragedy as a call to action, urging more robust support systems and interventions for victims.
As the search for Oswaldo Nathanahel Perez-Sanchez continues, authorities are steadfast in their commitment to apprehending the suspect and delivering justice for Tabatha Tozzi and her family. The public’s assistance remains crucial in bringing an end to this heartbreaking chapter and ensuring the safety of the community.
