Full lyrics of 'Lemon Tree' song

I'm sitting here in a boring room
It's just another rainy Sunday afternoon
I'm wasting my time, I got nothing to do
I'm hanging around, I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

I'm driving around in my car
I'm driving too fast, I'm driving too far
I'd like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely, I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

I wonder how, I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see
Is just a yellow lemon tree

I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning, turning, turning, turning, turning around
And all that I can see is just another lemon tree

Sing: dah
Da da da da da - di da dah
Da da da da da - di dah dah
Da di di di dah

I'm sitting here, I miss the power
I'd like to go out, taking a shower
But there's a heavy cloud inside my head
I feel so tired, put myself into bed
Well nothing ever happens and I wonder

Isolation is not good for me
Isolation
I don't want to sit on a lemon tree

I'm steppin' around in the desert of joy
Baby, anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen and you'll wonder

I wonder how, I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just another lemon tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning, turning, turning, turning, turning around
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree

And I wonder, wonder

I wonder how, I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see
And all that I can see
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree

Facts About Fool's Garden

German pop group Fool's Garden formed in 1991, comprising singer Peter Freudenthaler, guitarist Volker Hinkel, bassist Thomas Mangold, keyboardist Roland Röhl and drummer Ralf Wochele. Debuting in 1993 with the album Once in a Blue Moon, two years later Fool's Garden issued their sophomore effort Dish of the Day, scoring an Asian chart hit with "Lemon Tree." Go and Ask Peggy for the Principal Thing followed in 1997, as said by Allmusic.

When the guitarist Volker Hinkel and the singer Peter Freudenthaler founded the band Fool’s Garden in 1991, they couldn't really have figured what a great success their song "Lemon Tree" would have had in 1996. This megahit conquered the charts all around the world and, even nowadays, it's always played and sung along everywhere.

In order to continue with this success, the band had a new beginning in 2003. Peter and Volker went on tour with a new band, a new album and a label of their own, with big success among old and new fans. And the new live musicians Gabriel Holz (guitar), Claus Müller (drums) and Dirk Blümlein (bass) became the new members of Fool's Garden, according to Discogs.
