In the last match, Juventus lost 2 goals against Internazionale. Internazionale's Nicolo Barella scored one goal and set up another to help secure a 2-0 victory over champions Juventus and send his side joint-top of Serie A while putting a major dent in the Turin side's title hopes.

Former Juve midfielder Arturo Vidal scored his first league goal for Inter when he headed in an inviting Barella cross after 12 minutes.

Antonio Conte's side grabbed a deserved second after the break when Barella raced onto a long Alessandro Bastoni pass and finished clinically into the top corner, after which the victory was never in doubt as Juve failed to threaten a comeback, as cited by ESPN.

It was Conte's first Serie A win on his fourth attempt against the club he previously represented as a player and coach, and the result leaves Inter level on 40 points with league leaders AC Milan, who visit Cagliari on Monday.

Andrea Pirlo's side with some ground to make up in their quest for a 10th consecutive Serie A title, however, the club's pursuit of a Serie A crown will be difficult this season, with Juve in a legitimate race for the Scudetto having won the title nine seasons running.

As things stand, Juve sits fifth in Serie A, 10 points behind league-leaders AC Milan with one game in hand.

However, in another competition, Ronaldo and Juventus took down Napoli 2-0 on Wednesday with the Portuguese star scoring the game's opening goal in the 64th minute. He was joined on the scoresheet by Alvaro Morata, who provided a goal with the last kick of the game to seal the victory for Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo hopes that Juventus can use their Supercoppa win over Napoli as a springboard back into the race in Serie A.

Juventus 2021 Serie A: Predictions for the next match when meeting Bologna on January 24

Juventus 2021 Serie A Fixtures: Full Match Schedule, Future Opponents & TV Stream
Photo: LiveonScore

These are worrying times for Juventus as they bid to win a tenth straight Serie A title. By the time this game against 12th placed Bologna begins, they could be 13 points behind leaders Milan. There would be two games in hand but a successful title defense isn't looking likely. Juventus have only lost two league games but that includes their most fixture, a 2-0 loss at second-placed Inter. Six games have been drawn and those have seriously hindered them.

Midweek saw them beat Napoli 2-0 to win the Italian Super Cup, they might have a job qualifying for next season's event. They can't afford many more slip-ups if they want to get into serious title contention. The home form remains strong with five wins out of eight in Serie A this season. The only defeat was a surprising 3-0 loss to Fiorentina. Since that loss, they have won two home league games against Udinese and Sassuolo.

Bologna is only seven points above the relegation zone but had a welcome win in their last league game. A first-half penalty saw them beat Verona 1-0, ending a run of eight league fixtures without a win. December and early January saw them draw five league games in a row. Three of those games saw them come from behind to get a point, two even had them 2-0 at one stage. The standard of opposition in those games wasn't the highest though and included four teams currently below them in the table, as cited by Sporty Trader.

On their travels, Bologna has only won one of their nine league games. They're currently on a run of five without a win. Poor away form in Serie A is nothing new for Bologna. They have only one win in their last 13 and just a single away clean sheet in the last 25. Their last seven league visits to Juventus have all ended in defeat. You have to go back to 2011 for the last time they avoided defeat at Juventus. Another home win is the tip here with Juventus leading at both half and full time.

Our prediction for the winning team when Juventus meet Bologna:

After consideration, Real Fantasy Sports is anticipating an active game, Juventus have momentum, with players like in their squad. Currently, the game is set to kick off in 4 days, looking at the current form from each squad, it is said that this match will result in a draw with the possibility of Juventus coming up with the win.
