Full List of Top 100 Most Reputable Companies In The World in 2022/2023

Companies are generally established for one reason and one reason only; profit. You can work in a top company at the top level your entire life but you will still not be as rich as a person who owns a really successful business or company. And for the vast majority of people who work regular jobs, they work more than a third of the day, five days a week in a job that they're miserable at, at the worst possible pay, helping others make more money and become even richer. However, there is a reason that most people only work meagre jobs rather than starting their own businesses and achieving massive success. The first reason is the requirement of capital, which can be quite intensive depending on the business being established. Secondly, there is a huge risk in starting a business. It is true that whatever you earn is yours, less any costs that are incurred but it is also true that all of the losses are yours as well. Hence, if you fail, unless you're from a rich background with a trust fund, you might not even know where your next meal is coming from.

The Global RepTrak 100 showcases how people feel, think and act towards companies globally. For over a decade, The RepTrak Company has ranked the top 100 most reputable companies to celebrate global reputation leaders.

RepTrak, which uses a complex methodology to evaluate a corporation’s reputation across seven key categories, added several luxury brands to its 2022 ranking, more than any other year since the research firm began publishing the list a decade ago. In addition to Chanel and Prada, other newcomers included Burberry and Hermès.

LEGO Ranked Number 3, Apple ranks 65th on the 2022 Global RepTrak 100

The 2022 Global RepTrak 100 rankings have been recently released and LEGO has been named one of the most reputable companies in the world. This year, LEGO was named the third most reputable company after Rolex and Ferrari which broke a two-year streak of being at the top spot. The company, however, is one out of only two companies to still rank in the top 10 over the past decade.

Apple ranks 65th on the 2022 Global RepTrak 100 (GRT), a ranking and analysis of corporate reputation for the world’s leading companies. That’s down from 46th place in the 2021 rankings.

The report showcases how people feel, think, and act towards companies globally. The top 10 companies on the list are Rolex, Ferrari, Lego, Rolls Royce, Mercedez-Benz, Harley-Davidson, Bosch, PayPal, Netflix, and Intel.

For over a decade, The RepTrak CompanyTM has ranked the 100 Most Reputable Companies to celebrate global reputation leaders. RepTrak says that “through a combination of machine learning (ML), AI, and natural language processing (NLP), our reputation intelligence platform combines and analyzes millions of perception and sentiment data points from online surveys, mainstream media, social media, business data, and additional third party sources.”

Chanel, Prada Among 100 Most ‘Reputable’ Companies

To rank its top 100 corporations, RepTrak surveyed more than 68,000 respondents across the world’s 15 largest economies to gauge perception regarding a brand’s product and services, innovation, citizenship, performance, governance, leadership and workplace. Respondents were asked about their “willingness to buy, recommend or trust a company.”

To be considered, the corporation must generate at least $2 billion a year in annual sales and be familiar to 20 percent of those surveyed in each country.

Independent watch brand Rolex, ranked first, up from third a year earlier, was the only luxury label to crack the top 10. Sportswear giant Adidas also made the cut, ranked in seventh place — up from eighth in 2020. Levi’s, on the other hand, dropped to 14 from six a year earlier, with RepTrak citing higher brand scores across the board as the reason for the dip. (Levi’s score in 2021 was 76.6 out of 100, down just slightly from 76.8 a year earlier.)
