Falcon and Winter Soldier episode 3: Release date, How & Where to Watch and Review

Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is two action-packed episodes in on Disney Plus. The buddy-adventure series has taken over WandaVision's Friday night spot, pairing Marvel heroes Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) on a globe-trotting mission.
Unlike WandaVision, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier didn't premiere with two episodes on the same day. It'll release an episode a week, with the sixth and final arriving in the third week of April. While this is fewer episodes than the Wanda and Vision sitcom, the expected episode runtime gives you a little extra, varying from 40 to 50 minutes.
When does The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3 release on Disney Plus? The second canonical MCU show to hit the streaming service continues on Friday, April 2. If you've seen the first two episodes, you'll know that things haven't gone so well for Sam and Bucky, including a chat with an unexpected character who may have a bigger part to play in the plot in future episodes.
Episode 3 Release Time
Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier arrives on Disney+ on April 2nd at midnight Pacific Time in the US.
Just like with WandaVision, episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will release at the same time around the world, midnight PT.
This means fans hoping to catch the new episode as soon as it releases can tune in from 3am ET in the US, 8am here in the UK, 12:30pm in India and 6pm in Sydney, Australia.
In total, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will consist of six episodes, three less than WandaVision.
After starting on March 19th, a new episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will air weekly until April 23rd, according to Hitc.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier marks the second series in the ever-evolving Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the show centers on Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, taking over the Captain America shield, and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, grappling with 21st century life without his star-spangled pal Steve Rogers. On top of that, the pair team up on a globe-trotting mission to take down an anarchist group called the Flag-Smashers, Cnet cited.

Last Time: Episode 2After episode 1 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier set the scene, episode 2 really kicked the series into gear. Following the reveal of the new Captain America, we learn more about the ‘Star-Spangled Man’, John Walker. Sam and Bucky set off in search of the Flag Smashers, a superpowered anti-patriotism group who believe humanity should live without countries and national borders but they are unable to apprehend them. To learn more about the Flag Smashers and how they got their superhuman abilities, Bucky and Sam turn to the one man with enough knowledge to help, Helmut Zemo, the villain who tore the Avengers apart in Captain America: Civil War. |
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reviews

Early reactions to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are positive.
In Tom's Guide's The Falcon and The Winter Soldier episode 1 review, I explained how this show will be a hit due to the charisma of Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. This show is hitting all the Marvel action movie standard nods on the head so far, and we look forward to seeing what it does next.
Mike Ryan of Uproxx tweeted "Saw the first episode of FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER. So far so good? Tough to tell after one episode, but I’m a huge Falcon fan so I’m glad this exists. Also there’s a character that shows up that is a definite, "Ohhhh, so that’s what this series is about."
MTV News' Josh Horowitz tweeted "Oh hey I guess I can say I’ve seen the first episode of #FalconAndWinterSoldier? Probably more character development for these 2 characters in these 45 minutes than the previous 10 films. Big scale with some nice “what’s it REALLY like to be a superhero” moments. I’m in."
Collider's Steven Weintraub posted "The first episode of #TheFalconAndWinterSoldier is loaded with action that you’d expect to see in an MCU movie. But for me the best stuff were the quiet scenes that showed Bucky dealing with his past and Falcon trying to figure out his post-blip life. Big thumbs up."
Peter Sciretta of Slashfilm tweeted "First episode of Falcon and The Winter Soldier feels like a Marvel movie in a big way, a lot more so than Wandavision (not a knock). The opening action screen feels like a huge MCU action sequence (and not a tv fight), story feels like it has significant MCU consequences."
Jacob Hall, also of Slashfilm posted "If FALCON AND WINTER SOLDIER is content to be just a fun action romp full of juicy Marvel world-building, the first episode is certainly promising. But considering the talent behind the camera, I suspect/hope for a wild left turn." Tomsguide wrote.
