In November, USPS Operation Santa started taking kid-written letters. However, volunteers will start responding to these letters with gifts from Santa starting on November 28.
To enable volunteers to respond with mailing the gifts, letters are sent to 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888 with a return address. Following that, they are "sorted, read, and published" on the website. Although it has been redacted, personal information. After reading each letter, volunteers can choose one to "adopt."
The final day to send a letter to Santa is Dec. 12.
