In Germany, summer lasts from June to August. The months of June through August are when the most tourists come to the country. In 2024, the Euro Championships will be held from June 14 to July 14. This is in the middle of summer, when it is hot and often rains.

Fans and athletes are still curious about the temperature in Germany and whether there will be an unexpected downpour.

Beginning on June 14, Euro 2024 will take place in the southeast of the nation, where June temperatures typically hover around 20°C and reach the mid-20s in July.

The remainder of Germany is also experiencing extreme heat, though the town of Lingen in the northwest recorded the hottest temperature ever recorded in July 2019 at 42.6°C.

Predicting Stuttgart to be the hottest of the host cities for Euro 2024 seems reasonable, given that temperatures in Germany tend to rise the further south-west one travels.
