Arne Slot (Liverpool)
The 45-year-old Dutchman arrived from Feyenoord and is Liverpool's first new head coach in nearly a decade, following the departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season.
Slot enjoyed a successful three-year spell with Feyenoord, where he won one Eredivisie title, the Dutch Cup and reached the UEFA Europa Conference League final in 2022.
His first Premier League match will be away to promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday 17 August.

Enzo Maresca (Chelsea)
The Italian was appointed Chelsea head coach at the start of June, replacing Mauricio Pochettino.
Last season, Maresca oversaw promotion at the first attempt with Leicester City, leading the Foxes to the Championship title and back to the Premier League after their relegation in 2022/23.
Maresca, who enjoyed a near 20-year playing career as a midfielder which started at West Bromwich Albion, also worked at Manchester City as assistant to manager Pep Guardiola back in 2022.
Indeed, Maresca will come up against Guardiola in his first Premier League match, as Chelsea host Man City on Sunday 18.

Kieran McKenna (Ipswich)
McKenna, 38, has guided Ipswich to back-to-back promotions since taking over in December 2021, securing a place for the club in the Premier League for the first time since 2002.
After being forced to retire through injury aged 22, McKenna successfully moved into coaching, holding academy roles at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United before becoming part of the first-team coaching staff at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho and Ralf Rangnick.
His first top-flight match will be at home to Liverpool on 17 August.
Russell Martin (Southampton)
Martin, who is also 38 years old, secured promotion in his debut campaign in charge at St Mary’s, leading Southampton to a swift return to the Premier League following a one-year absence.
A former defender for Norwich City, where he made 125 Premier League appearances, Martin has previously managed MK Dons and Swansea City.
Martin's maiden match as a Premier League manager will be a trip to Newcastle United on 17 August.
Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton)
Appointed by Brighton & Hove Albion at the age of 31 years and 110 days, Hurzeler is set to break a record as the youngest head coach to take charge of a Premier League match, at 31 years and 180 days, when he oversees his first fixture against Everton on 17 August.
Hurzeler will also be the first Premier League head coach born after the competition started in August 1992.
Last season he led German second-tier club St Pauli to promotion to the Bundesliga.

Who is the longest-serving current Premier League manager?
The manager in the Premier League with the most years in charge is Pep Guardiola. In the 2023–24 season, he led Manchester City to their fourth straight league title. He joined the team in July 2016.
Jurgen Klopp was the manager of the English Premier League for the longest time. He had been in charge for eighteen and a half years at Liverpool. He was replaced by Arne Slot.
Another long-time manager is Thomas Frank, who has been in charge of Brentford for two terms. Finally, Mikel Arteta has been in charge of Arsenal for three terms.
As the 2023–24 season came to an end, Mauricio Pochettino left Chelsea, Roberto De Zerbi left Brighton & Hove Albion, David Moyes left West Ham United, and Klopp left Liverpool.
It had been less than a year since Moyes left Wolverhampton Wanderers. He left just days before the 2023–24 Premier League season began. Julen Lopetegui was hired to take over at West Ham in his place.
Enzo Maresca was hired as Chelsea's new head coach on a five-year deal that could be extended for one more year after he got Stoke City promoted. Steve Cooper took over for him at the King Power Stadium. Cooper used to be the manager of England U17 and Nottingham Forest.
Brighton looked to Fabian Hurzeler at St. Pauli when De Zerbi quit, and they soon hired the German as their new head coach. The first game of the 2024–25 season for Brighton is against Everton. He will be the youngest manager in the history of the Premier League.
Both Ipswich Town and Southampton moved up from the Championship thanks to Russell Martin and Kieran McKenna. However, Rob Edwards, Vincent Kompany, and Chris Wilder are no longer in the Premier League because Luton Town, Burnley, and Sheffield United all got relegated.
After Burnley was relegated, Bayern hired Kompany to take over for Thomas Tuchel.
Which Premier League managers were sacked in 2023-24?
Managers sacked in the 2023-24 Premier League season |
It was a huge drop from 2022–23, when 14 managers were fired, to 2023–24, when only three were fired.
As was already said, Lopetegui left Wolves before the season began, so he is not on this list.
Paul Heckingbottom was fired by Sheffield United after a humiliating 5-0 loss to fellow promoted team Burnley on December 5, 2023-24. He was the first manager to be fired during the season. Chris Wilder came back to the team to take his place in the dugout.
Next to go was Steve Cooper of Nottingham Forest, who was fired. Nuno Espirito Santo took over at the City Ground.
Roy Hodgson was the last manager to be fired during the season. In February, Crystal Palace fired the experienced coach and hired Oliver Glasner to take his place. The manager, who used to be at Eintracht Frankfurt, led Palace to a 10th-place finish at the end of the season.
After the 2023–24 season was over, Pochettino, De Zerbi, Moyes, and Klopp all left.
Who are the youngest managers in Premier League history?
Fabian Hurzeler
Brighton & Hove Albion made Premier League history when they announced that Fabian Hurzeler would be their new head coach.
Before, Chris Coleman was the youngest permanent manager in the competition. But now, the 31-year-old has broken that record. It will be August 17 when he leads his first Premier League game. He will be 31 years and 180 days old.
Still, he's not the youngest manager of a Premier League club.
That record is held by Ryan Mason. He was only 29 years, 312 days old during his first of two short stints as caretaker manager at Tottenham Hotspur. Not a single manager or head coach younger than 30 has ever led a team in the top flight. Mason is the only one.

After Jose Mourinho was fired in April 2021, Mason, a former Tottenham midfielder, was named interim head coach for the last six games of the season.
Mason started four players in his first game, a 2-1 win at home against Southampton, who he had played with in the Premier League before. They were Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, and Son Heung-min.
