Who is Selling Sunset's Emma Hernan dating?
Emma Hernan of “Selling Sunset” is the definition of a multi-hyphenate. She’s a luxury real estate agent at the Oppenheim Group, a vegan empanada entrepreneur, an Olympic qualifying swimmer — and in her own words, “a daredevil.”
This season, as marieclaire.com reported, Selling Sunset gave Emma Hernan a break from being solely Christine Quinn's mortal enemy—which, to be clear, also happened, but wasn't her only storyline this time around—and followed her blossoming romance with handsome property developer Micah McDonald. Micah, who describes himself on Instagram as "an entrepreneur, president and CEO, and hybrid athlete," was introduced to Emma by way of the multi-million dollar mansion he'd built, and went on to test-drive her empanadas for his mezcal bar (which was much more flirtatious than it sounds). After that, there was more flirtation, more multi-million dollar houses, a little drama with Christine—because what cast member on Selling Sunset doesn't have drama with Christine?—and, finally, a hot tub date in the season finale in which they got very close.
Selling Sunset season 5 filmed in late 2021, specifically November and December, so we're about five months out now—meaning that it's been five months after Emma and Micah hit it off. So, are they together now?
Since filming wrapped, their relationship has “progressed a little bit,” as Emma told ET on April 22. “Me and Micah definitely have something special,” she said. “We’re definitely still enjoying each other’s company.” So far, it doesn’t sound like they’re exclusive, but she teased that the next chapter of Selling Sunset could bring new developments: “Maybe Season 6, there will be a label, a ring. Who knows?”

In the meantime, as bustle.com reported, Emma sparked dating rumors with another man: her ex Peter Cornell, aka the fellow Oppenheim employee whom both she and Christine Quinn previously dated. After photographers spotted Emma and Peter having lunch in February, however, a source told to Us Weekly that they were “not dating,” and have simply remained friends since their 2018 split. What’s more, the insider added that Emma was single and “loving” it, though the Selling Sunset star has said Cornell might be angling for a reconciliation.
And about that Ben Affleck Raya interaction? The Selling Sunset star doubled down that it did happen — despite Affleck’s team denying it. “It was 2019, it was a very long time ago.”

Early life
Emma Hernan was born on 14 July 1991. She comes from a family of businessmen. Her parents owned a seafood company. She was born and raised in Massachusetts. Right from childhood she loved working and helped her parents pay the payroll bills at the seafood company by investing in stocks. She was always inclined to real estate, stock market and at the moment cryptocurrency adds to the list as well. She started working when she was just 15 years old.
Career
Even as a teen Emma Hernan, started working. She took up all sorts of jobs to help fund her expenses and also helped her parents with their company. She took up jobs such as babysitting, working at ice cream parlors, and even as a model. She started investing in stocks from a very young age. She has said that she used to read books and watch videos and that’s how she got herself educated about the world of stocks. She even is a firm believer in the fact that one should always have multiple sources of income.

She told the outlet that her connections from her other career has helped her real estate career. "Being in the food industry is a huge part of my story and also transitioning into real estate. A lot of the ties that I made from that — and from being a woman CEO and a woman entrepreneur — mean I've met other CEOs who are now purchasing homes. So you'll see it unfold [on screen], but it makes a big difference, me coming on and having that entrepreneurial background, for sure." "When I signed on to do the show, I was definitely... not hesitant, but I didn’t know exactly what I was signing up for, and to be honest, it’s been very second nature to me. Her road to real estate was unique
Born and raised in a small town outside of Boston, Hernan moved to L.A. when she was a teenager to pursue modeling. It was only after she became interested in finance and began teaching herself how to invest in the stock market that a few doors in the real estate industry started to open.
"I came out to Los Angeles when I was in high school. I knew I was eventually going to end up here somehow," she tells PEOPLE. "And then I started investing in stocks at a really young age."

She shares that as her income grew, she began looking for smart places to put her money. "With any successful run in the stock market, you tend to kind of fall into real estate," she shares. "I bought my first property with [boss] Jason [Oppenheim] and that's how I transitioned into real estate." She says Jason and his twin Brett "are like my big brothers."
After that purchase in 2017, As people.com reported, Oppenheim encouraged her to get her real estate license, she says. She did so in 2018, joining the Oppenheim Group as an agent shortly after.
Since then, Hernan has purchased several investment properties with Oppenheim's help, and she enjoys helping her clients do the same — especially women looking to expand their portfolios.

SHE'S CLOSE FRIENDS WITH CHRISHELL STAUSE AND MARY FITZGERALD
Hernan told People that she became close with Fitzgerald after meeting her through the Oppenheim twins, whom she's also friends with outside of the office. "I think I would probably say I'm closest with Mary [Fitzgerald] and Chrishell [Stause], but that's nothing against anyone else. I just happened to know them prior to even getting super involved in real estate."
