Jeff Rupnow appears to be the father of the shooter, Natalie Rupnow. Rupnow lives in the same area of Wisconsin, and has shared many pictures of what appears to be his daughter over the years, beginning in 2009, with the announcement of the birth of Natalie Lynne.

The parents of Natalie Rupnow, the 15-year-old accused of opening fire at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, on December 16, have been identified.
Natalie Rupnow, who also went by "Samantha," died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. One teacher and one student died in the shooting, and six other people were injured, including two people who are in critical condition.
Natalie Rupnow's parents are believed to be Jeff and Mellissa Rupnow from Madison.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said, "The parents are fully cooperating, we have no reason to believe that they have committed a crime at this time."

A teacher and a teenage student were killed in a shooting at a private Christian school in Madison, Wis., on Monday, police said.
At a press briefing Monday evening, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said that the shooter had been identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who went by the name Samantha. “She was a student at the school and evidence suggests that she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” he said.
Barnes said Rupnow's parents were cooperating with detectives and that a motive for the shooting had not yet been determined.
