Best TV Channels to watch the Premier League in Scotland

With the 2021-21 EPL season now underway, here are the best options for streaming matches online with a VPN:

1.Sky Sports and BT Sport

Sky Sports and BT Sport have exclusive live broadcasting rights for the vast majority of Premier League football matches. Both of those British services are subscription services, which means there is usually no way to watch matches without paying.

Most people consider Sky Sports to be the best way to stream the EPL, but this comes with a lengthy contract. Fortunately, NowTV is a UK streaming service owned by Sky that lets you purchase weekly or monthly passes to Sky Sports. A NowTV Sky Sports Pass costs £8.99 a day (US $12), £31.99 (US $49.90) a month, or £199 (US $265.71 for the whole season.

If you pay for a British Sky Sports account, you can use the Sky Go App to watch Premiership matches on two devices. BT Sport customers, on the other hand, can either watch the football in their browser – or by using the BT Sport app for iOS or Android.

2.BBC iPlayer

The BBC is showing some live EPL matches for free this season. And, you can use a VPN to access BBC iPlayer to stream highlights of the EPL each week on Match of the Day and Match of the Day 2.

Using a VPN to unblock iPlayer and stream free EPL content is extremely easy, so you have no reason not to enjoy at least some EPL football. So far, the BBC has announced that it will be broadcasting Leicester vs Burnley on the 20th of September.

3.Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime has revealed which 2021/22 matches it'll be broadcasting – and there are 23 high-stakes games in the pipeline. You'll be able to tune in to two weeks of games; the first starts on Tuesday 15th December, and the second on Monday 28th of the same month.

Premier League fans can look forward to some cracking matches, including Spurs' trip to Anfield on Wednesday 16th of December, as well as Sheffield's clash with Manchester United on the following Thursday 17th. During the second round of games on Monday 28th December, Manchester City traveled to Goodison Park to take on Everton.

The Amazon matches can be streamed on just about any device – smart TVs and consoles included – and there's even a 30-day free trial available. Alternatively, you can use a VPN! Watching Premier League matches via Amazon Prime is simple. All you'll need to do is use your VPN to subscribe to Prime as though you were in the UK. This'll give you a UK Prime account, and grant you automatic access to all the action.

Can I watch Premier League for free?

Sky TV and Amazon broadcast a handful of matches for free last season, and you can checkout match recaps and summaries on BBC's Match of the Day without paying a penny. So, it's well worth investing in a low-cost VPN subscription to stay up to date with all the football this season.

Subscriptions to streaming services can be expensive, and if you're a fan of British football without the means to pay for Amazon Prime or Sky Sports, a VPN is your best bet. With one, you'll be able to watch tons of matches – minus the hefty price tags!
