Which is the most hated zodiac sign?
From all the lists we published, this is definitely the hardest one. The thing is, we all have our good and bad sides. Hate itself isn’t exactly a positive vibe, neither is it worth paying too much attention to.
But well, you asked, so let’s give you our personal Top 5.
Keep in mind that our opinion doesn’t represent every person out there. Based on both traits and personal experience we decided to share our insights with you.
Gemini (May 21 -June 21)
They are social, talkative, whimsical and a bit nosy. They love to gossip about others and want to be the centre of attention always. Geminis always have different exciting stories to share with their friends which help them to be in the spotlight easily. So, if you are hanging out with a Gemini, he or she will keep you busy with their stories.
But Gemini often is disliked by others mostly because of their two-faced character. So, it’s quite tough to know what they think of others truly. Every zodiac sign has certain negative side and they are also disliked for some reasons by others. But it has been noticed that Gemini is the most disliked one. If anyone has a bad reputation for no reason, it is definitely a Gemini. They have twin personalities just like it’s zodiac symbol which is why they are often termed as fake. Their talkative personality makes that assumption more and more true because the world feels that you only communicate with people who you ave work with. Sadly, the reputation that you have created for yourself isn’t helping you too much.
They are two-faced. In a moment, they are sweet to others and the next moment they become very harsh. For being two-faced, they also like to do gossip about others who they hate the most. But won’t leave any chance to be nice to them. So, it becomes very tough to play a mind game with them. Nothing can entertain a Gemini person for a long time. They get bored very easily and quickly. So, these people are always into making new plans for their entertainment. But it’s not possible to find a new source of fun every time.
Humour of these people is really harsh. And they often don’t understand the difference between a joke and an insult. So, you have to be very careful when a Gemini is around you. It’s very hard to understand their commitment towards anything. They are either too available or not available at all. There is no balance between these two. This becomes quite problematic for relationships.

Even though Gemini’s are usually very cheerful, their two sided face can lead to hate. It’s not uncommon to ask yourself if a Gemini is being him- or herself. Is this reality or fantasy? To some, this behavior makes a Gemini come across as unreliable. Even though that’s not necessarily the case. But for many it’s enough to judge and hate them.
A Gemini can be all over the place. One moment they are extremely enthusiastic about something, until they suddenly change their mind. This inconsistency can annoy other people. It can also lead to disappointment. Some of us don’t mind restless people, but many just can’t deal with them. They feel offended and could decide to step away, leaving only hate as they go.

Gemini’s often find it hard to make a decision and prefer to leave that to others. But what if you don’t want to make that decision? Especially if you don’t know what’s going on in their head. They can be anxious which contributes to their indecisiveness. If all (or most) decisions are left to you, yeah, at some point you’ll start to snap. Maybe hate is not the exact outcome, but at least a good amount of irritation.
Showing emotions can be very hard for a Gemini. At lest, their real emotions. Chances are they’ll imitate and make people believe they are expressing their emotions, whilst in reality they aren’t. This “make believe” strategy can be fun and people definitely could adore a Gemini for being so friendly or polite. However, once they figure out this strategy, prepare for a possible hate-scenario.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
A Virgo can sometimes overthink a situation or discussion. It’s not uncommon that they worry too much about something that’s going on in their lives. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with analyzing stuff, but once things get out of hand that’s a different story. Whenever they become too critical of someone else, or the way someone behaves, there’s a problem. Judging other people can be easy, but it’s not always appropriate. They can also be critical about themselves, even into the extremes, which could drive people nuts.
The critical self-reflection we just mentioned could go a step further. Because a Virgo can be a perfectionist, they have this picture-perfect idea about their lives in their heads. Let’s say you start on a new project with your Virgo friend. Now, once things start to show a few cracks, they might pull out the plug and reconsider the whole idea. Even though you both were so excited about it in the first place. This frustration about not achieving their ideal goal can definitely make people hate them in the end.
Virgos are perfectionists and they do not like to spend their valuable time on people who aren’t worth it. They are intuitive in nature and they quickly understand if you are worth it or no. This is what gets them haters from the very first meeting with someone. Considering your perfect nature, you often want things done a certain way which makes people hate you even more. Now, only your close circle knows who you really are and what your intentions are based on.
| Sometimes people believe that a Virgo acts like a “know it all” kind of personality. Yes, they overthink like we already mentioned, but they often come across as if they believe that someone else isn’t doing their best. People could get the idea as if a teacher is speaking to them. They can be very serious about certain topics and won’t just take a “no” for a “no”. Since it’s hard to convince them, you’ll probably end up with disappointment. Who knows anger or even hate will follow. |
Let’s just remind you of the fact that all these “negative” characteristics are simply meant to answer the question who the most hated zodiac sign is. We all get annoyed from time to time, so don’t think that it’s a typical Virgo trait. But yes, the more of a perfectionist someone is, the easier it is to annoy them. We all need our rest and our time to relax, and nobody finds it funny whenever these moments are interrupted. But well, that’s just how it goes. For a Virgo however this could be very annoying. Perfectionists need time to recharge their batteries. Disturbing them in a variety of situations can make them annoyed, even if you don’t mean it that way. And they don’t mean it that way either, it’s just how they react. So either live with it or be prepared for some hateful moments towards them.
Virgos are systematic about things and they like to organize their lives to ensure that everything runs as smooth as possible. They tend to be ‘clean freaks’ who find it hard to focus and get things done when they’re surrounded by mess and clutter.

Scorpio (October 22 – November 21)
Well, we all know that everyone hates your guts. You’re often known to be vindictive and manipulative because you always know how to get your way. This can make people hate your guts more which results in people hating you even before they know you well. Scorpio is a complicated sign. And people have strong and polarised opinions about them. Type in “why Scorpios are” in Google, and you’ll get the idea. You either love them to death or hate them to the core. Or sometimes, both.
What we do know is that they are intense. They love intensely, and they hate intensely. Scorpio people will spoil you with compliments, make you breakfast in bed, and hug you so tight you can’t breathe. But they also play hot and cold, check your phone and hold grudges for the tiny things.
Anything emotions you pick up from a Scorpio, they feel 10 times stronger on the inside. They are angels and demons at the same time. And honestly, they love how they are. They enjoy being different than other signs. They don’t mind if people presume that they are dark, extreme, vengeful, and a potential serial killer.
As much as Scorpios love being their true selves, the dark side of their personality can suffocate the people around them. These toxic traits of Scorpio not only scare people away but may also come back to bite them.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
If you’re a Capricorn, you might be used to telling people your sign tentatively to avoid judgement. However, the actual traits of Capricorn are pleasant and admirable… So why are they so hated by every other zodiac sign?
You’re goofy and sarcastic while work is your entire life. You are a work-a-holic with very less tolerance of people who you think won’t make an impact in your life. You are quick at sassy replies and do not waste time trying to impress people for no reason. This is what makes everyone easy to hate you.
Capricorns are most hated because they are overly serious. Capricorns need to learn how to have fun. They take their responsibilities too seriously, to the point that it's all they think about. Their serious nature can make them come off as standoffish and rigid.
Capricorns are very suspicious. Capricorns are very skeptical people. They won't believe something unless they see it with their own eyes, which can be annoying for those around them. When things are going well, Capricorns are constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. They can't simply be happy without being suspicious that something will go wrong. This makes sense, considering Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure, restriction and pessimism.
Capricorns tend to be overly critical. The tenth zodiac sign is not only critical of themselves but those around them as well. They have very high standards and expect their loved ones to live up to them. People hate that Capricorns are so unforgiving. Capricorns epitomize the saying "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
Though they will accept an apology and act civilly, there is no number of apologies that will fully restore a Capricorn's trust. They aren't pushovers and don't believe it’s their responsibility to fix anyone else's issues. The sea-goat is very stubborn. Capricorns have a "my way or the highway mentality." If they have a strong feeling that their decision is the best one, then there is no convincing them otherwise. This can make them near impossible to work with.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Aquarius is most hated because they're unpredictable.Uranus, the planet of unpredictability, rebellion, and detachment, is one of the only planets that spins clockwise, rather than counterclockwise. Considering Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, it makes sense that the sign is so paradoxical and unpredictable. Dull and repetitive routines drive them insane. They are spontaneous people who love to live their life with a sense of adventure.
Aquarius are unemotional and aloof. They would rather approach a situation with their head than their heart. Because they often rely on logic and reasoning, it can be hard for them to connect with others. Moreover, they are independent to a fault. Their free-spirited nature means they often live by a no-strings-attached rule.
The eleventh zodiac sign has an all-or-nothing attitude. They never do anything halfway. When it comes to their career or creative projects, they go big or go home. Although Aquarius is symbolized by the water-bearer, they tend to have a glass-half-empty mindset. They are very pessimistic and don't know how to find the silver lining of a situation. They will cling to all the negative things that might happen, instead of looking at all the positive possibilities.
Though Aquarius have their, admittedly many, negative qualities, in the end, they mean well. Their free-spirited nature means they can't help but act on their rebellious and unpredictable tendencies. Despite their flaws, they are one of the most progressive, humanitarian and intelligent signs in the astrological cycle.
