The first on the list is The Golden Gate Bridge located in San Francisco, USA.

This landmark is internationally recognized as an iconic symbol of San Francisco. It is also one of the most photographed bridges in the world.

The stunning Golden Gate Bridge connects the one mile strait between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Many tourists have posed for photos on the signature red bridge which has been a US landmark since 1937.

Pedestrians are allowed to walk across the iconic bridge from 5am until 6:30pm which takes around half an hour to cross.

The second would be The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. This landmark welcomes 7 million visitors each year and it is the world’s most identifiable landmark. It’s been imitated all over the world such as China, Las Vegas, Greece, and ironically Paris, Texas. The iconic tower was meant to be demolished after 20 years it was built, but it became such a popular landmark that the French Government decided to keep it and we’re glad they did.

The Trevi Fountain, most known for having the oldest water sources in Rome. Its beautiful baroque artwork and statues represent important aspects of the city. Classic films such as “La Dolce Vita” and “Roman Holiday” featured this iconic monument in their films making it a popular spot for tourists all over the world.

The stunning Baroque fountain reopened to the public in 2015 after restoration work began in 2014.

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Biltmore Estate takes the 7th spot on this list, as the house on its property boasts 178,926 square feet. It was built between 1889 and 1895 for George Washington Vanderbilt II.

Elegance and grandeur abound at Biltmore, America’s largest home. This French Renaissance castle in the heart of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains is an architectural jewel. The home features 250 rooms, including 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces.

In addition to the house, the 8,000-acre estate is home to forested trails and beautiful gardens, which include one of the country’s most complete collections of azaleas.

Biltmore is as magnificent today as it was when it was built more than a century ago. George W. Vanderbilt created the estate in the 1890’s as a grand retreat in the North Carolina mountains. The estate officially opened to his friends and family on Christmas Eve 1895.
